Ok guys I know everyone is tired of this and I swear I did my research and searched the forum all thoughout for the answer, but I eneded up with nothing.
So my first question is why has no one on here, with the exception of those in Australia with the white and gold ZX14R, bought the full Akrapovic exhaust system for this bike? I did my research on the system myself and beside the fact that all the sound clips make it sound pretty weak, it has great reviews, even though the cheapest I saw was on ebay at $2500. I see a lot of the guys here have the Akrapovic headers, but with another brand muffler. I know that the headers are what seem to be the best in the business due to the titanium pipes and weight savings, but are the mufflers not that good?
Also, I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but do you guys recommend getting a Power Commander with slip ons? I'm getting all sorts of mixed reviews on this and I would rather get it straight from the elite! Thanks guys for the help, I just don't want to buy something that I would be disappointed in!

The akrapovic header that you buy separately is stainless I believe and can be had for like $600. I for one would rather buy a brocks full titanium system over an akrapovic, because its much cheaper and the quality is the same. Why pay another $700 for the same thing? You're only paying for the name that's why. Just my opinion

Also, if you're going to go with a full system then yes, get the bike tuned for it to maximize your investment.
