I sure love the old Javelin. Always wanted one.

WoW, I'll take an earthquake every once and a while, no humidity and expensive homes over this mess any day
Hope they stocked up at the liquor store before this shit hits!
Anyway back to the thread, is this two finger or three finger gap?

My 200 mile spring ride Saturday morning started off way below my comfort level and I was wondering why I decided to ride!! I waited as long as I could to start at 9:15 am, the wind chill factor was -9*f (that is 18*f at 80 mph!). I only have summer gear but layered up. I couldn't feel the fingers and had to stop repeatedly the first 30 miles to the meetup point, and do the arm pit hand warmer (it didn't help much!). I started at Snowflake, AZ and met a riding partner at Heber, AZ who was all decked out in his Gerbing heated gear. Leaving Heber it had warmed up to 24* and I found out that is the limit for my gloves, as hands were very cold but could feel my fingers. Dumped down to Payson and then into Phoenix to get warm. I'm pretty sure I'm not riding in that level of cold again!!

SoCal is a frickin desert, less rain than the great Sahara desert on average. Piken get more rain in the AZ desert than we do here. We have only got like 2 in of rain this season so far and about 8 would be normal.
Thanks for the vid Pike - make me want to get out again!

Way to ride Piken! I look forward to riding with you the next track day!
What a view, Cruderudy! I will go with the width of a finger or flat hand, since I view the gap as involving her bikini gap!

Today's high was 70, and tonight's low about 32. I'm so happy global warming is working here in the high country of Arizona!
