Wish I hand't stuffed around for so long deciding which bike to get and not wanting to spend the money.

Yeh if he accepts my price i have decided to go for it. Everyone seems to like it so it can't be that bad

Bgordan did you lose the site or something?? and are just starting up again?

So you like it hercs?

what were the others you were deciding on?

nice colour by the way, the 09's have some good colour schemes, i do like the monster edition, but am a poor student at the moment so will have to wait to get me one of those. I'll start off on one of the slow 07's

Easy toecutter that rabit looks menacing, i said that with tongue in cheek

Anyhow i am so annoyed

I organised with this guy to look at the zx-14 on sunday, as he was from out of town (3.5-4hrs) from where i live but he said he was comming to perth for a week and would trailor thye bike down. I told him i was keen and we discussed price we organised for me to look at the bike sunday which is tomorrow and all was good.

here iam all excited looking forward to sunday to buy zx, i get a text message saying he has sold it

i have sold bikes before and if i had made a time for someone to look at it and someone else rand up about it i always have given the first guy the first opportunity

i'm so dam annoyed.

or am i looking at this wrong???

its just a simple matter of courtesy one would think

Your so right rapsidy
Lots of ....'s in this world
Keep looking
Every time I looked around in Melbourne there wasn't a hole lot to chose from.
Even new stocks seem to be really low now (guess no-ones stocking much in this economy).
Considered buying from Eastern states and freighting back - might be an option ?

Thanks hercsz

that sorta took the wind out of my sales a bit, i even organised the money and all!

I did look into freighting but best price i have so far is between 1000-1400 so i will just have to wait, i might as well buy knew if i was to do that they have a 08 for $16500 but it is the le version which i hate, think that colour is just aweful IMO.

Anyhow can you tell me what it is like to ride? and what did you use to ride?

Rap City said: Anyhow can you tell me what it is like to ride? and what did you use to ride? Good times, bad times, money talks, nobody walks as the saying goes. First person shows up and all the calls are bird calls of look key losers. You lost; because you had to go there that day of the deal is you had no deposit; no contract, but to look to buy not buy is solid is I would have my end as the seller is come now is I do not have to wait for you is the other guy came [with cash] is wait for you?

What could happen to you in the next second you hang up the phone is where is my deposit is now puff the icons? You need to jump is commit. I would not be so pissed off at all. It was your call; you should have made a deposit. Was not the verbal to look key loose change is, "I'll gather the rest shortly" and I have someone with full amount standing ear?

You did good not to make the deposit without looking. You may have a dropper or a crasher redoo is goo it back together. So, I would not be that wound up about something I did not see as the real walk around the bike and ohhhhhh man, that thing is gonna need work is why he's selling that is who knows? I am just saying.

I used to ride ModernMooseTang for awhile is I'm riding some other website that is clueless to the 3 wire ends. You know watt eye use for a wire snip her?... Cutter. Ear comes a ride full... Full? Wear out is Full? If Full is Fill was here, he'd fill in the blanks abouta how it rides. If Kruz was seer, you'd get a mouth full, but year stuck wit, CUTTER...

Hi hub

I saw the photo and was willing to buy, i was ready to go look at it that day but he said (because he lived 3-4 hrs away) that he will be comming down on the weekend and would bring the bike down. We organised the time, i was happy to pay a deposit, i had the money, but he said don't you want to look at bike first, so we agreed on a time. I was free to look at it anytime but was working around what he wanted.

I had the money, was ready to buy, if he got down early why didn't he say. I have sold a few bikes before and if someone rang up and said they wanted to buy, and another rang i have always given the person i organised with the opportunity.

I believe in fairness and doing the right thing by others, you can tell usually how genuine someone is and how keen they are to buy. At least give them the opportunity and tell them someone else wants to buy, and say do you still want it?

I was ready to go, had the money, all i did was stick to what he wanted and his arrangements.

There will always be other bikes to me its just the principal. It was not like yeh i'm interested i just got to see if i have the money, i might come around sunday and see what it was like!!!!!!!!!

to me it was a done deal, all that was to be done was as you said, to inspect bikes condition.

anyhow i'll get over it

I don't believe in survival of ther fittest, or dog eat dog.

i believe in fairness and respect to others

In this world that doesn't always work, but firmly believe you reap what you sow!

welcome rapsidy and sorry to hear ur tale of woe!
im not sticking up for the seller but in todays world real buyers are hard to find so he probably was shown the cash and couldnt resist, and risk the off chance you wouldnt take it! its my belief though that these things happen for a reason, you may have had no luck with that machine!
yours will come and you wont be disappointed, ive ridden over 27000miles and it still give me butterflies when i ride it!!
good luck!

sooo many busas......sooo little time!

The ZX14 is the bike for you… Best breaks of any bike I have ever ridden, a shit load of power at any RPM, an excellent machine that you can ride on for hours…

This is the first bike I have ever owned where the next year I was not looking at replacing it (and if I did replace it would only be for a new colour ;-)
