Hello all, new to the forums... like what I've seen lurking for the last week or so, so here' my first post.

Last Saturday I purchased a brand new 2007 ZX-14 in Plasma Blue and I am loving this bike. However last night was the first time I rode late at night, and I have to say I am pretty concerned with the low beams positioning.

I ended up riding home the entire time with my brights on b/c I couldn't see nearly far enough in front of me otherwise. The lows gave me not even two car lengths in front of me, does this sound right?

Since the low's are completely separate from the high's I would want to adjust them a bit if possible, otherwise I guess I'll just ride with my brights on all the time... this is my first sport bike, so all my cruisers have had a big fat spotlight on the front and I've never seen this before.

That was the way my "07" was new too but 3 1/2 turns of the adjuster bolts later they are good.
Pull off the black covers on top of your fairing and you will see the adjusters and be able to get to them with a box end metric wrench. There is probably a "how to" somewhere in the maintenance discussions.

yea mine was the same way also, and surprisingly if u actually measure out the way they come factory set to the book, its the way it is, but forget the book, i tweaked them a bit and they are great at night now
