Has anyone successfully replaced the rear shock bushing themselves? I had the shock rebuilt and have a new bushing ready to go in, but can't even get the old one out... It probably didn't need to be replaced, but figured since it was out and its only $20 for the part, why not. Now I've tried getting it out using a c-clamp and sockets, from what I've seen online, and worry that I've done enough damage to the bushing that it should be replaced regardless. Any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I may end up having to outsource this to the shop.
