zero to 80 miles
11/16/13 1:31 PM

Just bought a 2012 black 14R. My wife surprised me with an early Christmas gift. Drove it off the lot at zero miles. Had to ride it 80 miles back to the house. Everything about my new beast was smooth and strong. I feel the balance is fantastic. Within 80 miles I managed to get the chicken strips down to 1/4". One hell of a surprise! Now onto mods!

Some junk & stuff on my bike and a hole in my head for riding it!

What's the propaganda? I extend a welcome from the 14Nation as well. That ain't prop. That's gentlemanly courtesy.
Look forward to hearing more about ur ride! Gonna have to shine her up and take some pics! Plexus is a great product for preserving that new bike look as long as possible. I love that shizzle.

Cblast decal on the windscreen is looking sexy!!!

Nobody else here advertises their shitty ass club. Wolfqueef is a propaganda machine. Maybe it's time for that .45Auto 230 Hollow to my brain.

I'm the president of the US Chapter of the 14Nation and you are going to make an accusation like that, you had better back it with something. The 14Nation not now, nor has ever, nor ever will 'con anyone'. You got your signals crossed. We have repped and helped other riders as much as we can. I know I have spent many hours on the phone helpin people wrench on their bikes or adjust suspension or tighten chains. I never asked a dollar for any of my time. Never will. I like helping. It is what the 14Nation is about. Help other riders to further exploit these machines. Help others wrench on their bikes. Help weld the rider to the machine. Not for profit. Because we are men and woman that purchased these machines for their performance. That's the focus.

You ain't a con artist. You and Bobby are the only ones with any real integrity. I'd be all about this Nation idea if they all had your good intentions and integrity. The Cblast Flash is outta this world amazing!

Well this will be my one time on this kinda thing, since I feel included in "they all"! CBlast and Myself are one in the same with what he just said and I will leave it at that. I am a reasonable person and don't have time for games and am certainly more than straight up enough to not get involved or try to con anyone.

Way Kool! I like that Honda with Karacter, that's Kawasaki character!

With or without the nitro, that is one nicely styled ride. I would like to see one of those little "bullet" fairings on there with the same yellow stripes; but I'd be very happy to make do with the naked version.

There's an automotive/power mechanics shop and classroom at the community college near me and one of the instructors is an old friend. He had WERA plate #3 at one time in the distant past as I recall and is still an enthusiast. I was thinking of approaching him to see if he would want to consider working a Cafe Racer project into his curriculum. I figure I could fund the project and he and his students could build the thing (hopefully with me allowed to "visit" the project).

Then, at projects end, they could sell it and fund the next. Of course, I want right of first refusal on purchasing the finished bike; heh, heh.

Are you finished with your build? Or is this one of those labors of love that is never really done?

PB

Hey Bobby,

Its just one of my wild ideas at the moment and I would leave that up to the teach and the class builders but my preference would be something oldy time classic in visual effect and fundamental structure.

I'm thinking: base it on an English twin; Trumph 650, BSA, even Enfield, or dare I dream of........Norton?

Don't want to hijack this thread, so back to reality for now.

Cheers!
