Ok seriously.

I'm an Aussie. Australian. I figure our members are mostly Americans. No probs there.

But I can not properly or fully understand a single post that Hub authors. Is it just me???

I am fully ready to recognise that this is because I'm not from the U.S.. But if we are using the English language as a basis for the conversations on this forum - I'm still totally lost with Hub's posts.

Is Hub talking normal American, i.e. am I that far off? Is he constantly drunk or high? Is he a mature rider that is not computer literate or grammatically correct (I doubt this because his home-made exhaust video is an edited movie file and someone who can't work a computer couldn't manage that)?? Is he some USA moto/racing hero that I don't know of (as yet)?

I'm guessing that most of you are from this "old forum" and before the formation of this forum had/have gained a respect for Hub for some good reason - but hey!!! How about sharing this with those of us who just bought a ZX14 and never knew the "old forum"!!

In short, with due respect, Hub...who are you??? And I'm sorry but if you give me some pigeon english response - that's not going to help me or anyone else who ever wonders like I do.

That's it. You got it. At it since the late sixties, I believe. Seems like Hub is easier to understand than ever. I think you just have to read his posts enough times and you learn. It's worth it.

Hey Aussie-you know,IMO,Hub has a very special gift there-he's a natural "critical thinker".I don't agree on SOME of his procedures for doing things,but it's cool(I mean,I would probably do some things differently).He's very intelligent.With lots of knowledge.Probably give ya the shirt off his back,ya know?Ride safe Aussie!!........That pic of him ridin there-very cool-looks pretty good with the fairings off there,ya think?That helmet-ya-way cool!

Hub likes to speak in rhime. He thinks it makes him look smarter. But of course it does excatly the opposite. Bad was like that at first. All in all, I think they're both pretty smart guys. It's better then the way people look at me. Everyone thinks I'm an ass hole....Well maybe they're right

BTW I'm still trying to figure out this guy. Wondering why there are so many posts with pictures that have been deleted. I'm starting to think he doesn't really exist. Have you ever seen a true picture of him or his bike? I haven't. I think he is actually a ghost in the machine. A virtual being made up of forum comments and how-to's and given sentience. He is an enigma inside an enigma inside a donut inside an enigma.

What Hub writes here reminds me of someone I know who got brain damage in a car accident. My friend gets incoherent sometimes too. Great guy, looks normal, goes off on some wild tangents of complete malarky.

Not saying Hub had a similar accident, but it sure reminds me of it.
