If you run it with no exhaust period it could burn the valves, pulling the mufflers will just get you busted in most places.

To much to list!

A) yes, you will ruin your valve train = whole new top end $$$$$$$$$$$$

B) it might be loud, but you decreased your horsepower and torgue at every rpm and gear range.

Only idiots run high performance engines without sufficent backpressure to keep the exhaust valves from floating.

When piston starts to goes down for inlet, exhaust valves are still open. piston will draw clean air from exhaust valve instead of through air filter. more air=lean=hot=burnt valves=$$$
header pipes+collector ensures each exhaust gas charge draws gas from the other pipes, ensuring no backflow.
leave the headers on, save the motor

The biggest danger of running a super short exhuast is you pull cold air back up the exhaust into your hot exhaust valves which detempers the metal, then they start to fall apart. Having some length of hot exhaust pipe heats the air as its pulled back up the pipe before it gets to the exhaust valves, protecting them from what folks call getting "burned". Just pulling off your mufflers won't hurt your exhaust valves....just your ears, the publics perception of sportbikes, and maybe laws pertaining to sportbikes in your area. Not really a very smart or polite thing to do to the general public, not everybody enjoys your ridiculously loud pipes.....just sayin'
We got laws coming down on us acros the U.S. left and right as it is about loud exhausts...the days of aftermarket exhausts are starting to slowly wind down, pretty soon we'll only be allowed to ride bone stock bikes if we don't smarten up

Agree, Bad. Its bad enough the HDs with their shotgun pipes, but then we got punks with too much money and not enough common sense riding sportbikes with loud pipes that don't make them go faster.

At least my CT-DUALS increase my horsepower and torque more than any other exhaust Brocks sells (or Muzzy for that matter), and are half as loud as the alien and other ones.

Loud is only guarenteed to be .... LOUD. Keep it up, and we'll all end up paying for it.

Yep Brocks CT duals are shining proof that you don't have to have mega loud to have kick-ass performance. And it also proves that dual exhausts can perform better than a 4 into 1...all through the power range. Brock rocks Awesome exhaust choice Privateer

thanks for the great responce. cops around this area don't really bother the sport bikes, think i am gunna put the cans back on tomorrow. gunna miss the sound, didn't seem to lose any horse power but did gain 3miles per gal in da gas milage though..... did notice more popping last night.... well atleast was able to give the cans a thorough cleaning while they were off.
