I had SW-Motech mounts for my XX and liked them. Do these SW-Motech racks work on the 2012?

Not sure if that is what CSX4350 is referring to above.

I bought Muzzy's frame sliders but cant get them to fit without modification. The inner alloy section fouls on the rubber cover that covers the head. See picture. I am getting a machinist to remove 3mm from the side of the section, will post pictures when I have them back.
Update got my sliders back from the machinist today, here is what I got him to do.
This is to clear the rubber boot, 3mm removed from 1 side.
Hard to see (black on black) the machined section goes to the back.
Complete slider.

Dose anyone know if the mirror block off plates are the same pattern.
Hey Lemonfire
I would have to say they are the same because the mirrors are still the same as the previous years.

HankSD, that's not what I'm referring to. This is what I'm talking about:
I absolutely love the tank bags they carry that mount to this mount. The magnetic bags scratch your tank all up, this system is just so nice and clean. It's also a good GPS and radar detector mount.
Neilp, this is kind of disheartening, as Muzzy assured me their sliders fit so I ordered a pair along with a fender eliminator last week. Please keep us updated on the modifications you had to do to make them fit.

I was surprised when the frame sliders didnt fit, as others have fitted them with no problems. So I am wondering if there is a difference with the Australian machine. When I tried installing the RH slider the bolt was definetly trying to cross thread beacause of the angle on the inner section caused by the rubber boot. Not sure if I will get a chance to pick the sliders up tomorrow, but they are all ready to go, fingers crossed!

Hey NinjaRyder
Can you please take a picture of the right side bracket on your Hugger....I tried instailing mine that was on my 2007 and the hugger seemed really close to the right side of the rear tire ...Maybe I Had the bracket installed the wrong way....A pic would help see if I did something wrong.
Thanks

Snuffy! mine was rubbing the tire when i got done. just took a BIG open-end/box-end wrench stuck it between the bracket and the tire and bent the damn thing back some. got room for a 200 now! i`ll take a few pics.
by the way. i`m running Brock`s CT duals and i blocked the two hoses the were coming from the air box. now the bike won`t stay on it just keeps cutting off. just read the manual and one of them is for the new idle system. wanted to know if one is for the clean air system for the exhaust or both?

Thanks NinjaRyder That would be great.
As far as the swap of the CT Duals from your 07 to your 12 were there any fitment problems? Did You have to Shim out the Radiator to make it fit? When I traded my 07 in a stripped off all the best goodies I had and CT Duals was one of them as well.
Thanks
Snuffy

Factory Pro Velocity stacks fit.
FYI - If your going to plug your clean air system so you don`t get that annoying pop with aftermarket exhausts plug the tube on the left side!!! the tube on the right side of the air box is for the new 2012 automatic idle system!!
I plugged both and learned the hard way. bike wouldn`t run at all with the right tube from the air box plugged!!
THAT 2012 SERVICE MANUAL IS THE BEST THING TO REFERENCE !!
GUESS YOU LIVE AND LEARN!!

Hey NinjaRyder
Thanks for the picture it helped me out on the install. I actually had a welder make me an another bracket because I didnt like how close the original bracket was to the rear tire and the new bracket worked out well. Its made out of stainless steel so no worries about rusting. Here are a few pic's.
That CT Looks BadAss my friend!!! Hows it Running without a PC?
Thanks Again

Going back to Neilp's having to modify his slider to fit, I got a new set of Muzzy sliders and also had the rubber boot interfere with the slider. I went a slightly easier route, I simply peeled the rubber back away from the head and installed the slider. You can see the rubber is actually on top of the slider outside of the head, but you really have to be looking for it to see it. Easier than machining the slider down.
You could also just trim the rubber back where it hits the slider, but that was permanent where my solution wasn't to either the bike or the slider.
