does anyone know the wheel size on the back rim? and has anybody put a 200 tire on the stock rim or know if it will accept it? thanks

The wheel size is 6 inches wide.
Whether a 200 will fit on the rim, yes, but most bikes that take a 200 will also have a 6.25 in. rim width.
The other question is will it clear everything in the back. That I couldn't answer. I will tell you the the tire profile will change, if for better or worst depends on the tire itself. Some have a crowned profile to begin with, and installing it on a narrower rim pulls the beads in closer together, will make it even more crowned than needed. It also would change enough that when leaned over you may in fact have a smaller footprint on the ground, not a good thing. I personally would never put the wrong size tire on the bike if the rim wasn't sized for it.
If your looking to put more rubber to the ground leaned over, then I would use a 190/55-17 rather than a 190/50-17. That tire is designed to do just that and give a small percentage increase in tire contact patch leaned over. Most track bikes would benefit with that profile, but for street use, I personally don't think that would make much difference, since we shouldn't be that aggressive on the streets.
If you just looking for fatter look in the rear, check out the cross section sizes of the tires that you have in mind to use. Some 190 tires have a larger cross section than others, especially in the sport tire class rather than a touring type tire.

thaks for the info that the size i run on my 9 thought maybe the rim sizes might be wider.whats your suggestion on the make of tire for these bike ive had great success with Shinko on my 9 they heat up quick and are very sticky and i get 6000 7000 miles out of them but i dont know howd they would do on a bike heavier and with more torque thanks for the feedback

I run the michelin pilot road 2's. Out of all the tires I've run on the 14, these offer the best combination of grip and mileage.

thanks heat cause factory tire does not have much life left in it at 1900 miles

+2 on the Michelins' road 2's, both buddies run them on their Busas' and can get great mileage. I also had them on my ZX9R. I'm running the Dunlop Street Smarts presently on the 14, only to try something different, but they seem to be holding up well also at 4K, should be easy to go much more. My stockers lasted about 3.5K.

A 200 tire will fit the 14. There were a lot of guys on the old site that were running 200's.

I bought from them when the Road 2's first came out. Took awhile, I think the fronts were back ordered at the time, but again the tire was brand new on the market. They seem to have the best prices so far. I had no issues with them, otherwise.

Why go 200 instead of a 190?

I honestly can't think of a single good reason to put a wider and heavier rear tire (and even flatter profile)
on a bike that already has heavy steering and doesn't like changing direction all that much.
