The right hand side exhaust has 3 mounting locations: the mid pipe joint, the silencer/passenger foot peg bracket, and mid pipe to frame behind the clutch housing. The left side only uses the mid pipe joint and the passenger footpeg.

When your Tsukigi was installed the anterior clutch cover mount became unnecessary. Somehow the fastener was retained.

I thought it may be a hanger for a shorty exhaust. I don't suppose those even need a hanger.

I have something 'strange' with mine as well...I sent my ECU off to be flashed by Ivan.Okay...I still have a brand new stock 2012 ECU right here from my other bike.I thought..."why not?We'll just see"...well...I haven't ridden her tonight with it in there..BUT...she started right up...No warning lights...and the ABS lamp lit up as it always does until the bike begins moving.This should be interesting to say the least;)If this unit operates the ABS system as well....sheeeit!Won't THAT be a hoot!We'll see tomorrow if my suspicions are right;)I do believe the 2012's are ABS programmed already...just waiting for the hardware and signals.

I'm not surprised that it would start and run normal but that will be remarkable if the ABS works with the ECU from the non ABS bike. Shows KAwi has planned at least some of the upgrades already. They have a path for the owners of the first GenIIs to follow so they keep up with updates on later models.

Hmm..well...as you said...she started and ran perfect...for about ten minutes.The abs was working as well...I tried locking it up(new tires).Nope...it actuated.I continued on...then I looked at the dash about a few minutes later...the engine light was on...KTRC warning lamp was on...ABS lamp was on...and the display was 'flashing' in the power mode and Ktrc display mode.Speedo had also stopped working.Along with the MPG...Clock worked...tach worked...gear position worked.Odd...but okay.So I stopped at the bank...and shut er off for several minutes while waiting.Restarted when it was time...everything seemed back to normal...lamp and display wise.Even the ABS lamp went out as I began rolling(it's supposed to do that).Went to the UPS store(....;).....).Everything again was going 'koo koo'....but the motor and that was doing fine as far as I could tell.Shifting was okay.Idle...fine.SO....I'm here now...and aren't gonna go ride(BEAUTIFUL DAY )until I get my other ECU back...should be soon...a day or so.No biggie.

It didn't feel or act like it was doing anything different...except...the tires seem to have solved the vibing deal I had going on for a bit.She's VERY smooth now.I'm not gonna chance using that ECU for any length of time...I have NO idea if the mapping or other stuff may be different when it starts coding like that.Definitely don't want to screw up the CAN or anything trying to force it with this ECU.

The GenI seemed to have delayed reaction as well. I recall my bike running just fine for a while and then the code popped up (for whatever error it was) after a couple minutes!! The bike was running with the error for some time. Its like the bike wants to really make sure the situation doesn't normalize before it goes and sounds the alarm.
