Hey guys! I never really introduced myself and figured I would. I have a 2006 zx14 that was laid down by my brother. It messed up the bike pretty bad cosmetically, but no structural damage at all. The building process has already begun and I look to have it on the road here in about a month. I ve been slowly piecing it together because we all know parts for this bike are not cheap. All that is left is basically a fairing kit, and some other little things.

thanks man. Yeah ive had a 636 for a while now and when i rode his bike before i loved how much more of a reclined riding position it puts you in, not to mention the power also haha.

Welcome newrider, you summary about the 636 compared to this bike is my exact thoughts. The comfort factor alone is well worth the change, then you add the ponies...major bonus.

The 14 is very comfy.
And its a stylish bitch as well.

hey just a thought if the bike you plan to ride has never been frame checked by a dealer you might want to have it done it's free you just drop it off. There are ways to tell if it has been checked allready by SMALL PUNCH MARK THEY MAKE when the check has been done be on the safe side and just a reminder there are actually three check that they make progressively so like i said just be on the safe side with the G1 frames problems I would not chance it for a second...xxx's
