It's not biased if its just what it is, the big Ninja just trumps the Busa thats all it is to it.

I loved my busa, but this bike just does everything better, the power, handling, and stopping, just better, I mean the first gen busa had about 155 at the rear wheel, this thing with a flash and pipe or slipons, 200-212,

That's a HUGE difference !!

True bobby. I've never been a fan of suzuki so it feels good to see Kawi beating them out. I think the busa's are over rated. I still have respect for the riders though no doubt. I have respect no matter what someone rides.

I think it is going to be very interesting to see what, or if, Suzuki does anything to the "topple" the 14 from its throne

I lhave a Gen1 Busa although not much of a Zuk fanbut I couldn't pass up the deal, but by far the 14 is a much better bike out the box, I have put some tuning work into the Busa, it got better but still not in contention with the 14, it just does so much so well its hard to beat.

My 2 cents. Kawasaki is all i ever rode. Never been a can of Suzuki anything special the busa. I have a lot
of friends with busas and i shake my head everytime i ride with them but they did bring
to my attention that there are way more parts to customize a busa rather than zx14. Granted
More parts are becoming available for our 14s but there seem to be so much for the busa. IMO.

It does have many companies putting out tons of parts for it, yes

Afterall it had been the legendary "king of Streetbikes" for about a decade

Even though the 14r has topped it, the Hayabusa has a diehard, longtime following.

Last month I traded my 2006 Hayabusa in on a 2013 ZX14r w/ABS. Getting off a 7 years old Busa with 40,000 miles and jumping on a brand new Big Ninja isn't a fair comparison. That said, the ZX14r is a stunningly fast(faster than the Busa)great handling bike. The grin factor doesn't get higher. The t/c and ABS work flawlessly. It's the best bike I've owned, hands down. The long wheelbase does inhibit it being quick in the tight stuff. For that, I have a 400lb Aprilia Tuono.

Yes, for as outstanding as our big Ninja is in so many facets of riding, any fast and agile cornering has to be done on something else.
LOL

I think some of our more skilled riders can take the 14R around a corner at high speed and never miss a beat.

But not all of us are the ballsy to try that shit on a bike this size. LOL
