I'm not a big CF guy for body panels but I like the dash panels in CF. The foremans, I prefer the stock panels because I like painted fins. The dif is subtle on your bike. The CF is close to the color of your fairings so it doesn't jump out. It tones the scheme down a bit.

Hey, Scotty, you could paint the fins and the foremans would still look kewl. The C-F disappears a little bit on a mostly black bike.

Umm, I echo Cooter. You don't paint carbon fiber. F1 race teams paint carbon fiber. Its a travesty.

I agree with Danno. Paint the fins on the Carbon to draw your eyes to it or go back to stock.

Where did you get the ram air covers?Do they go over the old covers or do they replace them?

I would say no also. You've got too many colors. The cf goes well with the black and gold flame but all those stickers (especially the Brock's) don't flow on the bike. I have several cf pieces but all I have on my bike is black, a little bit of gold (steering damper, Ohlins shock and some titanium. CF has two colors so it's better to keep the rest of the bike on a monochrome tone. Check Dogo's, Privateer's 14 and maybe mine

Cf is the new chrome and if we learned something from the Harley crowd, it is that it can be easily overdone.
At the end of the day it is your bike though, so it's your choice.

they replace them. A lot of company make them but if you want top of the line: Geelong or A-tech. I personally would leave the lower alone but have you seen this : A-Tech
they got some really cool accessories in Japan!

Nice site that! Just ordered one of these. Update.

Guard just arrived, already fitted (dry run) seems to be good quality, less than 1/2 the weight of the original.

I am now thinking of having it painted in the black. Thoughts???

Sweet! I wonder if the black debris deflectors mount on these. If not you can always get their radiator guard!

If the old dash panels are in good shape, I might be interested in buying them. Mine are junk.

Scottjkyl,

Highly approve of the CF dash panels. On the fence on the side gill covers..... leaning with others who suggested painting the gill's ribbed highlights red. I noticed that you have screens installed in the mid fairing opening. Would like to see more photos showing this region. Where did you find them?
