So I ordered what I think are "2" slip on's by two brothers. I ordered em up....it says on the description canisters (plural), but on my email it says 1 canister. I paid 686.00....anyone think I am going to end up with one or two canisters? Very confusing....my brain might explode if I only get one! I am actually having them sent to a dealership in Irving Texas to have them mounted to my new 14R.....I sold my old zx-14 last year and miss it so much, gotta get another one!

Current ride: 2022 H2 Sx se (being held hostage by soon to be ex wife) Currently riding: 2012 zx14r. with stuff for speed and comfort.

Are you gentlemen that have the TBs running them with the tips(baffles) in? Mine seemed a little loud till I let someone else ride it with the baffles out but installed them anyways.Couldn't find black so I bought the green and painted them with high temp paint.

I run the louder of the two tips "baffles" available. Don't remember off hand what the catolog numbers are.

I run them becuz I think it is too loud without them AND the louder of the two tips actually gives you a few more ponies than the the quieter ones or without any tips at all. Need a little more back pressure than straight open, I would guess. That info on power is from one of the national enthusiast magazines who actually tested them on the dyno, BTW; I haven't and won't spend money on dyno testing.

I still think it is too loud, but it would be a shame to shave off any hp. Mine are gold in color and I like the way they set off the exhaust tip.

I was tempted to take them out but I'm like you in that they sound better with the tips.Started to leave them gold for the contrast myself but already bought the paint so on it went.I also think mine were labeled as "one canister" on shipping description but came as a pair.
