Gotta LOVE those tar snakes eh Rookster?I've got some vids of my rides through the Kookanusa Run.But having a hard time chopping em down ..well...not that exactly,but when I clip em with Moviemaker,the finished clips won't play in Windows Media Player,like they will when I first download em from my cam.Any advice on that?I'm thinkin they need to be converted somehow...but I don't have anything to convert em with.What are you using to get yours to upload and play on UTube?IDK what movie player software they're using there.Mine are coming off my GoPro under AVI format.It's apparently changing when I "replay" my clips from the Moviemaker program.They'll play fine in Moviemaker after I've made a movie with em,but the edited clips won't work with WMP.

Tar Snakes? That's a good name for them.. They get kinda gooey on a hot day. Can be kinda weird if your cornering hard over them.

I am using a Mac and iMovie to edit and it is very easy. I just watched the tutorial that comes with the software and I sort of got the basics. Have not tried much in the line of effects yet. I import to my Mac, edit with iMovie, click media browser which prepares the vid at the rez you want, then go to You Tube and click UpLoad video from my computer. Takes about 5 minutes to prep a 5 minute movie with media browser and 20 minutes to upload a 5 minute movie to You Tube.

No way man! That's not me, remember? Some crazy SOB took off on my bike with the camera running. Glad he brought the durned thing back to me but damn, he sure did ride the hell out of my Mimi, didn't he? What a shame, I couldn't dream of riding like that. Hafta have something done about those roids some day.

If you have crazy friends who ride your bike and do stuff that is not legal, that is not your fault. That's the way I see it.

also, everyone knows how easy it is to speed these films up with video software that is available. ...and it is no big deal to set a speedohealer to +25% to get a triple digits reading on the dial.

however, it is true that your computer DOES have an special address that encodes on everything you access. You canbe traced if it is something that the powers that be consider important enough. ...probably we would have heard about it if this was interfering with civil liberties a real lot but it's possible. Criminals certainly have been apprehended through this method of tracing.
