I gotta see the front tire, the rear tire and the speedo mileage. What is OEM on this bike?

Get those price-point rim protectors off there and spoon on some real skid skins. Even the same designation off-the-shelf tires would be better.

OEM rubber in USA market is Metzeler M5. My rear started squaring at 1000 miles and worn to the indicators at 2500. The front
was getting flats on the sides and feathering at the sipes... still plenty of rubber in the center. At that point the handling went from friendly to bitchy... im pretty strong but there was no more counter-steering.

They must be made in the same molds as their off-the-shelf counterparts, but something about OEM tires (carcass construction?) is made down to a price. If you replace them with (what you think are) the same thing, you'll think you're on totally different tires.

That again says, 'We need to work together as we do with the other tire manufacturers. We want some grippers. Plus, the whole carcass says, we weigh in at a lighter load someone gets all upset about stats and weights. Wait till they buy non-OE, see how heavy they made that bike on the unsprung.'

I'm getting pretty good mileage out of my rosso corsa. About 4000 and could get another 2000 if I keep going to the hill country. With gear, I gotta be abound 250 lbs!

I got 6000 out of the the BT-003 and that is a mostly track day tire. It is oval shaped and even if the center tread does wear faster than the sides for you, it isn't going to square off if you do some hard cornering now and then. It still looked round when I had it removed. I'll prolly throw it backon and use it another 1000 miles...still got a mm to the wear bars on the center.

I did like those 003's....ya...very nice grip. But I was going through em like ...really fast!..I could see if I didn't change my driving fun I was gonna be spending way more on tires than I really wanted to LOL!There are a lot of straight running roads here between the corners...I can't get away from that. But I really did try to go easy on the straights in between the curves...it honestly didn't help much.Maybe it's the road surfaces here...they use that 'chip seal' everywhere...you know....kinda 'roughfish' surface...and asphalt...smooth...but not as much. They normally ruin the asphalt by throwing that chip seal on there afterwards.But...that's how they do it here.I gotta say...when they redo a road with that asphalt...it's smooth as glass...really makes for a nice carving session. If they'd just leave it alone!

BTW...6000 miles on a 003?....amazing...just amazing Bro!I think I got 2000 outta my first one...and around 2600 on the second.

Could be. They use that down by Kruz too. They do not use that here but I talked to a guy at the dealership who claims he has gotten 2000 miles out of tires. I haven't come close to that. I will say the Power 1s are looking quite worn for the 300 miles they have. even the center is soft. I see pock marks on it --from rolling the bike over the rough driveway I presume.
