At 12,000 miles, you change the air cleaner. If they did not at your 10k being so close to changing out, I would have called for an upsale to the air cleaner element. So, if it is original, it might be due now, being a 'hez' would act like it's falling on it's face with no air or running slight rich and stumbles. The higher rpm overrides the slight air drag at lower rpm's, which may show up as a low rpm stumble effect.

If it's new, we go from there.

Remove the toy from your air intake.

No fault codes show..only when you ride it.Okay...and the codes are?10,000 miles...no problems(ECU working).Take to dealer...BIG problems.Did you pay for this work?Did you get your ECU back?If not...I would go and ask for it number one. Then,I'd install it.It worked fine before your little trek for "service", yes?So how's it go south by being at the shop?Obviously, the "replacement" didn't correct it,it's still running badly.Which would lead me to believe the first one was actually okay.THAT'S the first thing I'd do.Even if they didn't charge you for one...I'd still try to get the original back(assuming they actually changed it).And give em back their "new" one.Geez, sorry Mav...unbelievable what goes on sometimes. What a bummer. You took er in for SERVICE, not SLAUGHTER.If you got charged for parts....they HAVE to give that ECU back by law...unless it's a different law across the pond there? And if it tests okay....you just learned something about THAT shop.At the very least, they have to correct anything that has created this drag,no question about that.

It's so sad. I can't help but laugh. Watch this go down, blue. READ it and weep!

Assumption Ladder:
1. Dealers had the bike for 33days!! = Comeback vs. Done right the first time.
2. ... throttle bodies balanced... = Oh shit!
3. Got bike back last night, did about 70 miles, now hunts slightly @ idle. = Sync, I bet plane fare, a change of underwear and my sync tools I call it a sync problem after 10,000 mile of hunt free idle? BADa Bing 2BADie Nail it in the ASSumption! How simple was that, blue?
4. Fault still there gets worse as bike get hotter !! anybody got any idears ( no fault codes show on diagnosis only when you ride it !) = It is in memory.

You have a perfect, "Comeback." Snot nose only did the sync not go well, but the ECU he thew parts at it is see, he blew that too as it still blows code. I would take a guess on this won is I'm for damn sure the sync is way out if he touched it at all. If I knew that code number, we can train that dealership shape is show me the fish&chips I might take a trip flydango I wish!

I had one of the throttle bodies about hunt me down it was that horrorific. Like stepping in dogshit is how your throttle hand was and it just stunk it (((wasuper dangerous))) I took care of that right quick!

I got a little ambitious with all 4 sync levels. And when you are yahooing your bike all up, I am in awe how a properly sunk throttle body can transform the bike. Pure balance and I am not even close! Can you imagine? I'm telling you, this is like pull the flies kind of setup.

You do not follow book is all I can say.

Thanks Guys
Luckly warranty is paying for the ECU, dealer was booking 19.5hrs diagnostic time !!!And didnt fix it. Long conversation with Kawasaki yesterday. Now taking to another dealer tommorow 60 miles away this one hopefully will be better. I am on a ferry to Holland for Moto Gp in 26 days fingers crossed. also fogot to say first dealer managed to scratch the paint as well !!!!! another argument there then !!!
Hub at this rate it could be worth me paying your fare and buying fish & chips!!
Cheers

Mmmmmmm, Chips and GP. I can't really move, being a 24/7 caregiver or I'd gladly pay. I could use a little vacation.
