I ordered off ebay a 08 ZX14 FI sub-harness. It arrived and here is the pic. It connects to a main harness with a 5 pin connector.

Thing is that I don't recall a 5 pin connector on my bike for the FI's. I recall a 16 pin connector. Here is a photo of a 16 pin, same as is on my bike, up along side what was sent.

seems to me the harness sent is not the correct harness. It should have a 16 pin connector?

Without taking the bike apart, am I remembering this correctly?

Maybe the '08 uses 2 connectors, a 5 pin and an 11 pin whereas, the '06 uses one 16 pin connector. Looking at the diagram, it looks like they could have isolated the harness for the injectors on the '08. I don't know if the '07 is like that also. I'm guessing that you have an '06? If so, you still may be able to use this harness. Just have to remove the 5 pin plug and insert the pins in the proper location on the 16 pin plug.

I have an 08 and when I installed the Bazzaz, I only remember a 16 pin for the FI's (and ancillary sensor connectors).

I ended up making a wiring diagram myself, for an adaptor for the bazzaz, for the Fi and ancillary connections, using the OEM 16 pin connector, for when Im ready to mod the bazzaz unit.

I don't recall a seperate 5 pin sub harness for the FIs.
