Deceleration popping with PCV..

Should I still be getting this on deceleration?

14r/Full Muzzy/PCV/stock filter.

PCV was bought from Hardracing & came with a full Akro map.

Bike preforms fine no issues other than popping on decel

Suppose I should play with some other maps??

Yrs past my slipons would do this, figured a full system/Pcv

would eliminate this???

You need a TRE, the stock fuel maps in all gears lean the closed throttle position out WAY too much and results in backfiring/popping. Get 1 from Ivan's Performance, really easy to install and should fix this issue.

I blocked my hose (the one in the left on 2012-2013, right on 2011 and earlier) and the airbox, had the ECU flashed, and I still get it, maybe my next flash will cure it ? C, do you still get popping ?

One of the tre's does the pop thing. You'll lose your gear window. It either locks at 6 or N, depending on the flies out thing. How about this? Since I don't have a pee to see what it will do, if I set the accel mode? See what I'm saying? You lift, it says the vacuum thinks that means to accel. That closed throttle pressure makes like you WOT the throttle some. So some fat rich goes in on the depop. Make give it a try sense sick kill?

Disconnect the gear position sensor and it will make the ecu run the 6th gear maps. Kinda try before you buy kinda deal.

I sometimes pull out the service manual just to read about different components and procedures, its like pornography to me. I remember reading about the gear sensor last weekend.

Block the left hose to the air box too. That will cut it down some as well.

The Answer is inside the ECU. 95% can be removed when Flashed in the 14R. I would say 100%, but if you run Voo-Doo slips you may hear a hint. In the early models 75%. I'm still working on it. And yes Plug the fresh air hose helps a little too.

Hub please take a look in your woolich software when you get the chance, see if you Agree with my statement. The TRE006A should Never be used in the New Bike IMO. The 14R has totally different Neutral Map which is what the N hack locks you into. Very aggressive designed for no load on the motor. Yes it a 100% fix But ?????? Thinking not a good idea.

In a few minutes, I'll be out in the garage to, build a wire harness, lock the subs open with the remote actuator. I'm going to have about 5 toggles in backup mode, back up and running again. This then will determine if what you say is correct?

The 14R has totally different Neutral Map which is what the N hack locks you into. Very aggressive designed for no load on the motor. Yes it a 100% fix But ?????? Thinking not a good idea.

Meaning, the aggressive move can be flashed or is a sub-mapped for this code to kick in, where Justin has yet to find the backup maps, along with the idle map. I don't know if I see that, Romes? They look like the left mode switch maps to me. Yes, lots of combos on the Wooly maps, but I see not as a 5-6 as in the backup. I see it more like it's more how they set the gps up so it uses all 6 gears is my take of it?

Like I said, I'll have two toggles off of the gps so the subs are locked open is the one move, the second move will code as per book with said backup locked in 6th. And if I recall, N is the better hack.

Once I seat of the pants those [toggle] moves, then it's a burn move. Then I hack the burn, see if it defaults as you say as in 'no change.' Other than watching the moves under live timing, there is no way to capture that table moving those cells unless Wooly could make it happen somehow?

So the trick is 'no change' when hacked. That says Justin exposed the hack maps too? We went for the hack map? See where I'm going?

Wow impressive. I wonder if you can see the 10 degree advance ?

(N) hack 9.08 Kil ohms. is this on one of the toggles ?

Ignition Map Full Power gears one to six

Neutral. Timing Advance is Aggressive. No Load.

The drill-down radio clicks show 3 modes = Race-Sport-Rain, not hacks, yes?

I toggle a hack, this ignition curve is going to show it I slow-mo it. See why I bought an easier cam mount? A plastic sticky tab vs. steel mounts all over the bike for simpler [rolling] lab work?

I didn't have to make an extended wire loom. I did have to move the tank emissions/skid sensors out of the way. Come to find out the air [PAIR like] intake hose for the right side is for the skid system. I disconnected the piggy system of tank/skid sensor . Noticed an amber light at the speedo, and the bottom of the F and 1 bar area began to blink as in coded. I saw the PAIR sensor mounted in the center of the head cover. This ran the other clean air hose for the PAIR system.

Hub I meant to ask you if you had figured out a fix for the 02 sensor code after you unplugged the pair. Also why is it called 02 sensor fault when we clearly don't have one ??? Un plug = check Engine light.

Is your index finger on a crank case vent filter ???? Looks like yes, why did you remove this hose ? Oil vapor in air box ?

To many questions ?

No. I'm working on that. I'm sure it's a formula playing with resistors. Find the right value = Light goes out.

Actually we do. It goes like this. 02 pings rich/lean so it remains stoic. Stoic is 14.7. We have the ability to tune away from stoic at both ends. This by the action of the tail sensor. Under the seat is the same sensor as the IAP. Instead, they call this seat sensor the APS. So this atmo pressure sensor is reading sea level to mountain pressure. It's going to swap air for fuel we elevate. Same as would the 02 sensing too much fuel the higher we go. Cool shit, no?

So our atmo sensor fails, we default to an 02 reading spitting out 14.7 or close to it. Meaning, we'd have the ECU locked, reading 760mmHg as the only number used: digitally speaking. This is the math or 14.7 being 1 atm, 1 atmosphere = 760mmHg. In other words, we would be set at stoic. Plus, this 02 toggle acts the same as both platforms. Meaning, if a euro 02 took a shit? The preset of 760mmHg (stoic) would be math'd same as the 02: internally in the digital: not like the 02's analog meaning.

We burn that 02 radio click, we better watch the AFR. So say we unplug the 02/APS. I'm going to assume we read 760mmHg under both disconnect conditions as would be the toggled condition back to 760mmHg. Only your AFM knows for sure.

Correct. But then again, I lose a tiny bit of balance or smoothing effect, if a pony is measurable i.e., up to a Horsepower or way less being back down to ponies? I think NASCAR used a more elaborate setup off the valve covers. Crankcase venting is more a racing gig, than emissions... Back then. But those still remain a racing trick as is today's PAIR. Drilling holes under the header near the head so that fresh air would keep the heat moving to fill a cleaner chamber, and where no inspector would look under the header wink-wink.

Resistor gets to hot and pops according to the busa threads.

Very cool indeed,,,,hmmmmm, sensor hack possible ? Flashing the 02 sensor out of the ECU also gives the check Engine light. I can't figure how the Euro bikes have the 02 wired into the inputs of the ECU,,,looks series but it can't be. Why inline with the pair ??? hurts me brain,,, but then again why do we care if it does not help us remove the fault from the return of the plug open circuit. I want to see this Gizmo the busa guys use. For now we are back to the marble trick fro 2006. Crude.
