I think your 250 has an oil leak. You have the best of both worlds ZX14 for speed and exhilaration and the 250 handles like a bicycle!

well spotted , the oil plug wasn't tightened up properly by kawasaki at the factory and when i got the bike from the shop it was not spotted till i got home .

and right now my idea was to get the 11' ZX-14 as the color combo most closely resembles the 09' 250R. Glad to get a look into my hopeful future!!!

I love the Ninja 250, it is a real blast to ride. Makes my 14 seem absolutely piggy, and I don't mean power commander. Heh.

Add the Ninja 650R and you have a real dream stable.

You guys know I like RKA luggage as the best of the soft luggage makers (quality, fit, finish, warranty, service) but this all started when I met Richard and Kathy (Mr. and Mrs. RKA, though I think Kathy is the boss) at Sears Point. He still races there, with his old BMW.

Back then, Richard let me run his 600 around the Sears Point track a few times. Talk about a blast!

Over on COG, someone is selling a 650 race bike, I think. I didn't pay it much mind.

I just picked one up too!!!For $800 Needs a lil' work,not too much.In the process of painting it that Raw Titanium that Kawi had on the 05 ZX10's.Put the Hotbodies undertail on it and got the solo seat cowl.


Also found a HMF pipe for it for $90.
