I've decided to not go the route of painting the stock windscreen.
But, i think I do want a black one. To anyone that has the Puig Racing in dark smoke.... can you see down into the wiring behind the gauges? I can see that you can on the light smoke one, and don't want that. So, I may lean towards just a puig racing in black. But, the two pics i've seen online are different. One showing that R1400 written on the bottom and one without. Can anyone confirm if there is anything written on the all black one?
THanks,
caps

Well I ended up getting a Puig. I got the Dark smoke DB. It's going on tonight - the damn puig sticker on the side was put on like crap so I removed it, so for all anyone knows I'm rocking a Chineese Windscreen...
oh well - I'll live. I'll post a pic once I get it installed tonight. That and I grabbed some Techspec Pads for the tank too. I'll snap a pic of those also for any thinking about getting them.

Yeah, not a bad idea... I'll see if they can mail me the tiny one for the side.
For the center section pad I found the best thing was to throw the pad directly on my flat top stove burner and put it on lowest setting.... let it sit there for awhile... the thing was nice and toasty and super plyable... worked awesome... then just heat the tank with a mini heater sitting on the seat. The nice thing with the techspec is you can heat them up and take them off again, and stick em on wax paper when u don't want them on... and then throw them on again when u do..... though I plan on leaving mine on. But the good thing is you can readjust if you don't like the placement - not straight or exactly where u want it or whatnot unlike some other tank pads. Hopefully have pics up tomorrow, or later tonight.

I got zero gravity db and love it so far... I also got a set of these to match my bike.

I bought the black base and blue spikes.. I am not an accessory guy but I really like them. I also got matching bar ends, rear spools and front spike axel covers :-)
