So my riding buddy, Andy, found out his cat is diabetic so hex got her started on insulin. Sooo, he's been unavailable to ride. I decided I couldn't sit around any more so I pulled the bike out and headed down Wildcat Canyon and Ash Creek Rd to Cottonwood for coffee. Its getting warm down in the valley so I got on the road early.
No traffic and perfect temperatures. About 20 miles in, my thumb shifter stopped working. I resorted to shifting with my heel. My knee is still improving so I can kinda shift with it. Had a cup o Joe and a blueberry muffin and headed back up the mountain. Got back to storage and did some troubleshooting on the thumb shifter. Turns out, my crimped power connection came loose. I'm going to buy a soldering iron and do it right.
