It would have been less if you were off of it!

IDR (I Don't Remember) - it was weighed at Daytona last year for the Dyno drags.. which it won 3 of 3, fully stock, about 1100 miles on it, against a new 08 Busa, pipes and PC III.

It was all the 11 year old rider, Jon Jon.

He's quick.

I'm afraid to, the service manual claims 476 lbs. but that surely is wildly optomistic - feels like around 550, but when I changed to area P slip-ons I could feel a big difference - some day I will put it on a scale, but I'll bet it is around 540. Of course this is totaly unsubstaniated -your milage may vary, etc. etc.
But perhaps if I drained the oil, brake fluid, coolant, fork oil, clutch fluid, rear shock fluid, removed the battery, and drained the gas tank it might just be 476 lbs. just like the book says - just one problem with that though.....
I wonder if the factory includes tires and air?

I just got on the scale, in shorts 156lbs. Making my total raceweight (+ 10lbs for leathers) 656 lbs

A set of BST wheels and the 1.7lbs. Speedcell battery will knock
another 30 lbs. The Alien Head with the removal of the passenger pegs
saves over 40 lbs. alone.

I have to weigh mine, but I have to be around
100 lbs. lighter than stock with some carbon fiber, a whole lot
of lightweight aftermarket parts and stripped of tons of oem
stuff that just adds pork to the zx14.

I will weigh the bike against a buddy's modded zx10 and post the numbers.
I already have a certified and acurate scale in mind,
just have to find time.

The scale at my local track indicated 530lbs with a full tank of fuel. I don't know if the scale had been calibrated recently or not because that sounds high to me.

If you took 100 lbs off the ZX14, you'd be getting down to liter-bike weight...awesome!

Actually, if you took 130-140 lbs off the 14, you would be down to the weight of a ZX-10. I saw it in person from the same scale that I used. A streched 10 (07') weighed in at 402 lbs.
