i agree cleaning the rims in the little corners is a pain , i found that using an old toothbrush with some detail spray works great,

I use a hard long bristle brush like a parts cleaning brush but smaller to wrok those corners. To wipe the brake dust off the front rim and [rear], I use any tire bright stuff. Seems like it's nothing more than that sun crap you put on plastic bumpers, dashboards from cracking [yeah right], etc.?

Been using a product called "Wheel Wax" for several years, a friend of mine suggested it when I was complaining about pad dust on the wheels of my car. Not sure what is different from regular wax but it keeps wheels clean longer and makes them super easy to just wipe off. I tried regular automotive wax on one front wheel and "Wheel Wax" on the other, the "Wheel Wax" wheel stayed a LOT cleaner.

Go to Amazon.com, type wheel wax in the search, comes in a black container with silver lettering, great stuff!
