.....well give more than just one moment, please!!

but it's true, you never know the rush of speed and competition until you do it.

Can you think of anyone you know who is just a "little bit" competitive, no matter what the contest is ? It seems to me that once a person tastes competition, they either then live a life of milque-toast or everything in life becomes a contest, whether it is against 20 participants, the clock, or simply to best their own records. :)
Some of us may exhibit a "doesnt really matter, cause it is just for fun" but if you watch closely, I bet you will see the challenge sitting there, waiting........

That's the top quote for 2016 so far. I doubt it will be touched, sans 1bad comes up with something down the road. I think you nailed my ass to the wall on this one. On the bike I'm taking lines like I'm still racing only lots slower. I post and am ready to argue the point till you wear out, give up, I win! Racing against Ivan for that tre abstract and wins the "DTT" in theory as well as practice.

And I'm telling you as corny as it sounds I kept on saying to myself all week long, 'I'm going to win' was the mental mantra. Come race day I'd win. That rain race, right before they dropped the flag I said I'm going to lead that race and I did... when the lead guy pitted first... not how I planned it, but I'll take the mindset either way. So I proved to myself I could set the head game in play, look back at it, yeah, I'm still in the game.

I forgot where I heard it, but recently someone said and I'll paraphrase it: "No one gives a shit about your win, but second place." Was that 1bad's quote? So it sort of comes full circle is what you did that counts in your "world of comp'n'toast."
