I've used the Spiegler LSL kit on my Turbo Blackbird, my 07 ZX-14 and now my 12 ZX-14.
I removed the kit from my 07 to install on the 12, only to find it needed a different top tree.
$375.00 later, I had the tree to use with my favorite bars.
That in itself is why I like the kit...you can fine tune your riding position with different bars.
I've had the same bars on 3 bikes since 2007.
For an older guy with a collection of internal aftermarket parts, this makes 600-700 mile days possible.
Without it, maybe an hour. I also lowered the footpegs 1".

hey bigjoe good luck finding all the stuff you need for touring, i also like a helmet lock and a centerstand. i just pulled the trigger on a speiglar bar riser kit for my bike, part # is z120k142 add an extra twenty bucks for black bars and thirty bucks for the eliptical bar ends.
thanks for the feed back Hank,

LSL spiegler handlebar kit is above average in quality.
Without it I could not ride the distances I do.
I'm having trouble loading pictures, but if you email me at ridenski@gmail.com
I can send you pictures of my fully dressed ZX14.
Also I recomend the SW Motech quick release top case and side bag mounting setup.
