The deal is how much chemical is going to burn with just the right 'all she wrote' for that compression/heat of the day (room temp) and lets factor that all in.

Smoke is going to use who cares what weight. There is a map and there is a map. Everything else is mute once this is cleared up.

8.60 = What weight oil?
8.42 = I think Smoke's bike is close enough we need to bring oil up.

The more you heat that oil, the thicker it becomes or say in time it will turn to gunk or back to a clump of crude, correct? Are we talking one rides it to work and comes the weekend, oh I just changed my oil a week ago?

That's why this is the quick and dirty no need to change oil between rounds? Won't there be fresh oil and a chassis prep so fair is fair?

Sebastion wasn't saying that the ECU is aware of the #3 temp condition. However, the engineers were aware and factored that into their tune. Fuel and ignition maps are unique to each cylinder and can be manipulated as such. This includes unification as well obviously.

Ok here's the bottom line on all of this!
In order to tune a motorcycle engine properly you have to take a looong look at the bygod then you reach around and grab the talywhacker by BOTH hands. You hang on to the talywhacker until it starts to tingle. Look at your readout next. If the numbers aren't what they should be then you twist the jumpjack just a tad harder. After that you pour a little yessir into the tank. Shake it up, dip your finger into it. Taste it, does it taste like yeehaw yet? If it doesn't all you have to do is take a fleshlight and swirl it around a bit. I promise it'll taste like yeehaw after that.
Then, plug the talywhacker into the bygod, without a key, turn it on. When she fires it SHOULD sound quite a bit like a woohoo. If it doesn't, take 5 steps back, squat down, stare at the mojo until things get a little fuzzy. The sun should come out right after that. Push the bike back up on the dynomotorlinker machine. Put on a "BLACK" cowboy hat and some boots with those starlike rib grinders on the back. Hang on to the "RIGHT" handgrip and raise your left hand so you can slide it into the back of your underware. Twist the right grip REALLY HARD and use your left hand to catch the little smelly pile that your bowels are going to excrete when she hits! Wala that suckers ready!!!

Guy has a single whatever? Empties the tank, pours in this nasty smelling stuff, pulls it on the dyno as in the only change made = Over 1 hp with fuel alone. I think he was using VP race gas @ 100 octane and then swapped to what he mentioned is to remove the fuel and not to let it sit. Is that the r12 being that nasty?

YOu have to get those engineers to explain it then. There is a lot of formula going on and FI is not about cut and pasting a few cells and now here is the tune. If it was that spot on with all the data/dyno, why is C stuck at 118 and I saw a 121tq hit, and darn if I can remember if that was with who's flash if any?

All I know is that at the end of the day, I wanted a reliable bike that ran well, with the proper amount of fueling for whatever pipe I slapped on it, using a minimum amount of bolt on gadgets. I got that with Cblast, and I couldn't have asked for a better product.

Wow Hub used the word oil ... shit .... :) Anyway I use what is easy to get my hands on , either mobil or amsoil .. I do not use 0 WT oil. .EVER . 10w40 or 20w30 .. My motor runs the same with either oil ..

Now let talk about this MR12 ..I have never made more power with that crap even with a good MR12 map .. Fact is I tried it and lost 5 MPH ..I will not spend 130.00 for 5 gallons of crap ..Shanes bike that ran 207 was on MR12 ...YEAR old MR12 that had been opened ( not a sealed can )..Now what is MR12 when it goes flat like a coke can left open for 24 hours ? Well we know the coke will taste like crap because it lost it's fizz ...MR12 is just base stock fuel with Fizz added and goes flat just like coke .. Once flat it's just fuel ..The reason I only test with pump gas is because it is what 99.9% of you guys are going to run in your zx14 ..If I had run MR12 and ran 8.42 everyone would have said " well he cheated and used MR12 to run that number " What I did and wanted to do was have a set up that anyone could copy and have their bike run like my bike does , nothing fancy ..All bolt on ..

Cblast this is a question, NOT a criticism: Is your ECU self-correcting and does it take in to account modification? Example, totally stock bike with no mods running ECU reflash, later the owner adds a full exhaust and low restriction air filter, will the ECU compensate for the changes or does the reflash need to be specific for the mods currently on the bike? I have looked back thru the posts but have not seen or possibly looked over where this was addressed. Thanks!

Hey RK, the flash is mod specific as far as full system or slips etc. If we know the set-up, we can adapt for it immediately. But it would have to be adjusted if the external mods changed, as in switching from slips to a full system. But that is easily done and we offer follow up flash support for all of our customers.

The bike has brand new clutches and fresh oil and filter ..I hope to get in 8 to 10 passes the first time out all running on Cblast/Nels flash ..I'm a bit rusty being off the bike all summer , so I need to sharpen my skills .. The second trip to the track will be the same running only on Cblast/Nels flash ..Once I'm happy with my ( riding) and i'm sure I have got the very best out of the flash and bike I will reinstall Brocks/Guhls flash and PCV and map and retest ..This is going to take some time to do but anything worth doing is doing right .. I need to be 100% fare to both party's ... And I want to make sure the numbers are correct ..

Any plan to spin the rollers on the dyno? Does the bike sound any different, have you ridden it around the parking lot, how is the throttle response?
