This makes sense....stored memory....not so complicated;)The ECU DOES have the ability to 'return' if you will to a mode of "getting you home'...so to speak.Don't know(I should probably read up again on it)if it's getting that message from the Can,or ROM,or whatever...but it IS there.Cycling the key...just like restarting a computer.Same basic deal.Clearing the memory.

I think it's possible that changing out ECU's and swapping and such COULD maybe cause a tweak in the 'messages' that're being sent/received.Wouldn't be unheard of with these kinds of hardware/software. Hub....

Thanks, Grn. I guess butting both heads together ROM'd the RAM, don't you think? Either the flash is dead in the water or it was more to wipe out the fault code more or less. How they did it is another question. I'm going to assume the Cflash is ready for today's outing.

Who knows...maybe a teensy bit of moisture...a fleck of corrosion...something 'just enough' to break a signal...low battery?who knows?I think I could say with assuredness it wasn't(isn't)the Flash.I stand by that.

Poorboy, it does not matter the conditions for any number. Whatever number shows up is a clean slate. This is all about 8.3 or go home. So if 8.4 is all she wrote, it's no better than what is out there, it's that close. If it's 8.3 all day on a shitty day, get it?

Conditions are everything Hub. I've picked up a .10 and 1 mph on the same day because the air temp was dropping into the evening.

Poorboy 8.42 Was a DA 960 ..I will have to back to my tickets and posts from last year and double check that ..Seems two+ years ago when I ran 8.43 it was around a DA of 600..

Everyone who see's that clip at one time or multiple times have felt that way when they ordred something. I myself am guilty most of the time, Funny clip Hub.

Poor, I did read your post. It was more me thinking out loud after 9 or 8 pages which should have been at best, a total of 2 pages w/Smoke's results. I suggested the venue and others started in on me and Smoke, rather than just start another poem thread and yell at BG for not having a section for poems on a 14 site, and it seems it's turning into a Cflash site and not a 14 site or am I missing something?
