Somefun has Guhl done any r&d on the ecu yet or are you going to provide a test bed bike? I haven't heard of any post mod bike results so probably none done yet. If you think about it this bike with just a pipe mod and a software tweak to make big hp numbers if that's all it takes that is a painless slick package. Compare to a turbo mod where hardware like oil lines and returns and plumbing along with fuel concerns about rail and pump and injectors. Seems like reliability and livability are compromised. This bike seemingly is designed for 260 hp easy and if that pans out how many will be wanting one then?

Kawnow I haven't done anything but put some miles on her..... I have the AKR and link pipe and the length of Stainless steel will be in tomorrow so I most likely will start this week on the mods. I will hope to have the pipe done by next Monday. Then go see Don to tune and flash her... Not going to be able to Dyno her before the pipe mod to see the differance but that's fine.....I have to say this thing is so crazy fast it's nuts. I mean my 14 has a super sport head, full muzzy system, 48mm throttle bodies and -1 gearing and my H2 would smoke her..... Guys all I can say is sick.....WTF will it be like after the flash and pipe/ converter mod!

Butt dyno is butt dyno. I still think the H2 will be faster myself in measured conditions. But until there are hard numbers, butt dyno means jack shit.

Vic hard numbers don't mean shit when it comes to riding a Super Charged bike on the street. Trust me on that one. Most would never even consider modding this girl it has more than enough power in the stock form. It feels like a real strong 14 motor on a cold day in the frame of my ZX10R.....

Hey I'm not talking horse power,I'm hoping you can get her down to 475lbs.are the header and mid pipes 2 1/4"? A few years ago Lang Hindle was doing an exhaust for a BMW race bike he was getting over 200 hp ,but couldn't use the exhaust, body work clearence issues,I believe it was 2 1/2" piping

Oh LOL! Yeah I hope so also.... Love to see her under 500 lbs for sure. the mid pipe is 2 1/8". This thing is so crazy now and she's so corked off with the system that's on there it will be nuts for sure when she is opened up.

Will back pressure be an issue, don't know if I understood corectly but i thought you removed a valve in the mid pipe ,years ago Hindle had problems doing the R6 exhaust because of the yamaha (x-up?) for bottom end mid range

I don't know to be honest....the H2R doesn't have the butter fly valve in it so I don't think it will be an issue. As far as low end I think with the SC it will be more than fine. from what i was told the valve is more to lower the noise.

This will only be good for a few ounces,if you get a piece of 1/8 " Abs you can make a really good liscence plate holder, cut and then bend using a hair dryer to a 45 then use existing holes from factory rear fender, did this on both my 07 and 2012 14's simple cheap and easy.It frees up your tag light circuit for something else, the tail light illuminates the plate fine

No not yet but I'm getting there.....lol I removed the rear hugger, reflectors, rear slip on, the slip on covers, and the butter fly valve cover, tool kit and after weighting it all its right at 20 lbs. I'm sure once the cat comes off and the butter fly controller comes off it will be like 25 lbs so just under 500 lbs. I may leave the clean air stuff in place becaus Don Guhl can shut it off so I don't need to worry about codes or lights going off. I wouldn't mind installing block off plates but I want to make sure I can put her right back to stock if I never need to.....

Didn't get to take a pic of the hanger last night, black stone tech don't have any rims listed for the h2, on Saturday was talking to friend at a large motorcycle shop, he told me of all the light weight batteries Shorai is the most reliable and ballistic have the highest failure rate,a battery should be good for 5 lbs

if you do the shorai battery and kleen air, with every thing else you should be close to 485.

Ok so after removing and doing the tail section, then removing the cat, butter fly valve, solenoid actuator, reflecters I'm at 32 lbs of weight. I can replace the battery and I'm sure that would be good for at least another 5 or 6 lbs. this puts her at 490 lbs..... That will work :)
