Priscilla update
04/19/13 6:11 PM

Well, so far I have just turned over 1000 miles and I'm pretty much garage bound because of weather! So I made a few small changes and wanted to share! Thank you Rook for the windscreen advice!

You have to get rid of that exhaust. Get a good full system and you'll really love that bike. It wakes it up and loses serious weight. And looks WAY better.

That stock exhaust looks real nice painted. It should have came from the factory like that instead of that ugly raw pot metal crap.
I feel your pain dude. I've had Delilah, aka the Nasty Cruzr, for a week now and she is still sitting in the garage with 7 miles on the odometer because of bad weather. :(

Yeah, the weather here is supposed to change tomorrow! :)) I know an aftermarket system would help me lose tons of weight and gain power. Right now I honestly like the quiet silky stealthy stock exhaust note. I would love her to shed 30lbs!!! But I do want whatever exhaust route I go to be black, and have quiet inserts that I can remove. I'm still debating. I'll get there! :))) don't really need more power. This girl is a frickin beast!

The best weight loss mod you can get,is to trim body fat, 30lbs on rider, not machine.
That's my plan, now 230, dropping to 200.

Hey, that's awesome! I got a little fat after retiring from the marine corps back in 07. Didn't last long, couple years ago I lost forty lbs in six months. Now that I think about it, I wonder how much that was affecting my off corner drive? :)))) I weigh 185 now. My wife is currently laughing at me over reviving dead threads! :))

Hey Nasty - "I've had Delilah, aka the Nasty Cruzr, for a week now and she is still sitting in the garage with 7 miles on the odometer because of bad weather."

That really sucks to have to just watch your new bike sit there. Hopefully the weather pattern will change soon and you'll be able to get her out. I've had mine for 11 days and have 950 miles on (and probably about 600 on my vfr in the past week). It's cold here in the mornings, but nice afternoons.

Just be careful if they use sand/salt on your roads, that's the worst part about early spring riding here.

After 3 seconds of full throttle, everything else on the road becomes 'Oncoming Traffic'...

Sand is slippery stuff to ride on, here in Ontario, we have tons of it all over the road. It also sand blasts the bikes on the highway. I can't wait till all those roads are swept and clear. Here in Igloo nation that will not likely clear until May.

There was a lot of salt and sand on the roads Sunday when I was out. Fun stuff having watch out for it and carefully feathering the throttle and brakes through corners. After riding in the rain, the whole back half of the bike was white from salt. She got a very thorough washing when I got home and a very detailed waxing and polishing. Ha! She's a nasty little b*tch.

Your invitation particularly the Wiskey and the making up stories sounds like the icing on the cake. The ride down would be magnificent!!! I did not hit lotto this week, so I'm still hoping for a win before the big TT in may so we can go!

Hey nasty what kind of wax do you use? Don't say sex wax. I use mothers fx and applu with a foam sponge, wait till she gets powdery than I shine. What do you guys use on these bitches?

Wolfman- I came across some Meguiars ultimate liquid wax Monday and thought I'd give it a try. I used a foam applicator and buffed it with a terrycloth. It turned out sexy shinny. What do you use on your rims, Wolf?

Hey guys I know they are new bikes and we all want to baby them but be careful with the wax its really meant for the metal which their isn't much. But after you wax it to keep it clean for good I always used honda polish and still do, but some guys I would see at shows whos bikes are mint like I keep my all of them said they used pledge. So if you see my pics on my other thread I used pledge on the whole bike, especially the rims which they told me to do. Holy shit it came out amazing. But the real benfit is it really help keep the dust and dirt off your rims. Give it a try and research it on the web. Its well known. Wait to see how clean your rims stay. To this day I have NEVER washed my bike and its mint. First got it I put a coat of good wax, since then after every ride I pledge or honda polish to clean it up. And zero wax build up!!!
