if they are making a new improved design why are they showing the 14R with the duals. Just so you can buy it and feel stupid when the release a better system? I'm not against making a buck, but.... The same guy (Brock) wanted people to write to kawi and petition so he can get a free 14R, that's plain greedy, last time I checked kawi was in the business of selling bikes not pipes. Buy your own Brock!

"Brock took a look and said, 'yep, the old pipe fits',okay...then why not 'give a guy a break' and tell him....'Ya...the old pipe fits'...friggin moron.Lost my business anyway.Showed up at the 'unveiling' to do what?Get some 'air time' and CRY about how he didn't 'rate' enough from Kawasaki to get a FREE bike."those other guys..ya know...they think I'm somebody....but...."
What a friggin bunch of BS.Whiner.There's yer whiner.I say...get yer ass off the throne and get some techs to do some measurements so's you can put your customer's minds at ease about buying YOUR pipes.

I don't feel a bit sorry for his sorry excuse azz.Fucker's rich rich rich.He don't need my cash...that's evident!IAnd I don't give a rat's azz either.Tells me a BUNCH about his character that's for sure.I mean...if YOU were doin what he's doin,making money hand over fist,would YOU not tell a customer what's up if you knew?I would.Fuck the BS...I would.Any honest person would.

Duals are exploiting the other two cylinders. Look under a NASCAR chassis. They crossXtie the pulses for gruntuning. The quickest accelerating engine says; from a standstill. Brock/Muzzy that pipe on a 60ft and my money is on the stocker. Then, we change bets mid-track. I now pick the aftermarket to finish off the top end accel. Can't have both. You come real close staying stock, but the aftermarket is going to edge out is my guess. Then you place Slow on his stocker and he's ripping better time slips?

Dragking's on the beam right there...he's figurin it out also.Shady baby....way shady. And Drag's got Brock's CT's on his baby. That's what I meant by buying what ya like.Answerin a question that's actually pretty important, fitment, whether a guy buys from you or not...if ya know the answer and say so...that goes a hell of a long way in my book.He wants US to petition Kawi for him, yes?Fuck him....send me some free tryout pipes for my baby Mr Brock...then we'll see about gettin ya that free bike...okay?Sound fair?Afterall...you KNOW they'll fit, right?

And now, I have a different opinion or take. Look, I know some of the inside stuff being close to someone inside. Like everything else, it is a who you know is forever, no? If mother teapot wants exposure, it's their call. If Kawi wants to extend a long term scenario, things are tight right now. Economy wise or maybe if business was better around the world, Brock wouldn't need to say anything but a long term loaner likely would be in his lap. They do plenty with the magazines. Rotate the fleet. The same bike goes around in magazine land. Ride and shoot, we have this headed for so and so on this day. We have lead times and deadlines. That bike is 3 months old next ragamuffin comes out with some other new bike from how many manu's?

Then, here comes the shootout and how many had to sit around until a shootout could occur? The Busa is not out yet. And all that may remain on that economic grief is hold the spray can steady. That's it for next year.

You left out the part about...."poor me....Kawasaki doesn't think I rate"....Wonder why?I'll say agin...IF ya care about your customers,ya address THEIR concerns straight up.If he didn't have a bike....friggin take the few minutes it takes and find out about the new diameters.I can't find any...but I'm not Brock or Muzzy or Whoever.Sorry...no excuse. Those other guys aren't any more help either. So it isn't just about Brock. They all said the same sorry thing..."here...wanna buy THIS pipe here?"..."oh,and BTW,what was your question again?Hope that resolved your concerns".

The ONLY ones who seemed sure enough to say "get these now so you'll have em when your bike comes in" were Vance and Hines.Probably a limited run.Just so happened I WANTED the CS ONES.Plus I didn't feel like I was gettin a runaround. They e-mailed me back right away...a couple of times in fact.NOT in 48 hours.

Hubster, I feel yu at times... Like I have said before, you keep people on their toes... Think outside the box... And yes, to me it's all good - we're all here to learn from each other (not that anyone is going to really learn much from me...), but from you guys sure - we are also here to have some fun (me anyway) get away from the day to day - and since I do most of my poking from work, to take a freagin' break... I hope that thru it all we remain buds! I don't take anything personally that someone posts... all in fun...

I'm not going to say that Brock is shady, his old pipes do fit the new bird, but only because they (Kawi) designed the new one around the old one. Why blame Brock from trying to make a sale, there are still a LOT of pre-2012 14's floatin' around and for some who can't afford to buy a new 2k exhaust everytime the whim hits them... so having a system that will fit the old and he new could be a benefit and until someone tests both the current CTs against the new CTs or whatever they'll be called, who knows if the CTs won't improve performance? Maybe not as much as the new exhausts, but maybe a little... maybe the difference will be so little that most will just bring their CTs to the new bike and forgo the new exhausts all together.... who knows? Again - only time will tell...

I called and got on the list but cant decide if I want the 20" Carbon fiber or the 20" titanium... What will look better with Black?

Black Carbon Fiber sweet. Ti turns Pink Purple colors when you make some good heat. Cool if your into that.

OOTC: I'm not sure what the big deal is. So Brock's making the header tubes a little bigger diameter? Would you want him not to do that?

Also, anyone buying a header now for a bike they don't even freaking own yet would be an idiot.

I feel that modding a brand new bike is the wrong way to go about it, anyway.

And the performance difference between putting "old" CT-Duals on and "new" ones would be undetectable on the street.

My guess is, he's doing it so he can justify raising the price more than because it will improve performance.

Well I can't decide if I am an idiot or not since I only pre ordered it and didn't buy it yet, guess I have to wait and see if they call me back before I have my bike or after.... Hmmm, ok does it make me an idiot because I bought a HM shifter, rear sets, Pazzo's levers, Rizoma fluid reservoirs, 2 pairs of HIDs, LED marker lights, grip puppies, stainless brake & clutch lines, and a double bubble wind screen for the bike I don't have yet? Guess I should preface your reply by saying who gives a fuck what anyone thinks, when it pertains to my life except me of course. You get one life to live as far as we know, so enjoy it and live it like it's your last day.

ROFL, you know slip-ons will fit. Or if they don't, its not a big deal to send them back.

A full exhaust (a good one) is major bucks, and to buy one before you have bike in hand would be patently foolish unless you buy from someone who has a 2012 and says it fits.

Besides, why not ride it for a season and see what really needs to be changed? Might turn out something more important than an exhaust system is needed first.

Besides, too many buy exhausts that are all noise and little +HP, so it would be a good idea to wait for comparisons to be posted. Save your money while you wait, then buy the best one.

Wow, Privateer you can't mean that. Case and point; My bike was finialy perfect and then I sold it. The person who gets to enjoy all my hard earned labor is ???????????? Not Me. Not to mention the money.

If I had only jumped in with all her mods sooner I would have had the Full 4 years of of enjoyment I gave away. Just sayin ????????

Oh yeah, buying slip ons only makes you half an idiot :-)

ROFL, the prob with slip-ons 4 hp for 3/4 of the money of a full pipe that makes 12-13,,,,,,

This year I would be waiting a bit on the pipe. Kawi may have nailed that New Header Pipe,,,, Then slips and link pipe all that is needed.

No matter what you guys decide those New stock Pipes look heavy heavy heavy. Any change will be a big plus.

Can't wait to see what you guys do. Cheers.

Mine is getting boost up front this time, No pipe purchase. Should save me 1/3 cost of Turbo Kit lol.

Privateer c'mon jump in with me lol.
