Riding a motorcycle has it's inherent risks. Riding a moto in rush hour traffic or while at the top of sixth on a side road has inherent risks. These risks we accept in exchange for the ride! Passion Thought Two:
Upon corner, I feel the bike roll over as I hang off looking for the exit. I apex and carve and suddenly feel the urge to let go of the handle bar with one hand at full lean. I reach and my fingers dangle along the asphalt. This transpires for only a few seconds... We touch, the bike and I are one, I exit the turn, drop 3rd, bury 4th, top of 5 and wack the throttle as I climb 6th, like thumb wars and mercy games when we were kids. The needle buries into 300, all is vortex of helmet buffeting, mirrors vibrate, helmet vibrates so hard I lose the ability to see the numbers on the speedo. Who cares, once the speedo crests 300 anything on hard acceleration is essentially any mans guess. I climb just beyond the earths gravitational pull, I launch the bike into an orbit. I tuck below the windscreen, I lay on the tank and I pull until everything around me is smooth as ice. God I love this motorcycle, but in essence, I love myself as the motorcycle is but the completion of my psychic energy that flows into the machine with physical outputs. I crest a hill of this familiar highway, the buffeting gone now, I can hear the engine over the wind screams...I take the familiar exit to my home, I don't think about it, I just hang in the moment. I bow down to the KING Wolfman. No other feelin like it is there brother. Sheesh, I was just telling someone today how unbelievable it is to ride these bikes. Nothing and I mean NOTHING gives you the thrill of moving along at a speed that your visual reference ahead is about the size of an american quarter, everything else is just a smooth blur. You truly can't feel more alive than at that moment. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't or will never have that experience.
Not to mention the fucking acceleration that this monster has and how that feels pulling through the gears. Geeeezus. No way to describe it.

Holy fuck boys! Kinda outta touch up here in Canada. I gotta chime in though! Laying in bed at my buddies house. Been friends with him since I was about 16yrs old. He was riding a Yamaha fzr600(Canada), and I had the ninja 600 in candy wine red. Now, worlds later we are still close. He still rides. I am in a little place north of Namaimo, on Vancouver Island. :)) I was out burning today, and I was holding WOT to the top o fifth and its an open three lane. In the far right lane way up ahead a car blurs by gone already white RCMP crown Vic cop gone. That fast. Hahahahahahaha! I am pretty sure my blast wave rocked his fuckin car! :)))) I straight burned hard into sixth, then backed out about four or five heartbeats later. :)). Lol.

I lift my son a loft and swing him over head to perch him in a stoic magisterial stance on my shoulders. We run and as I break left he leans left. Then it hits me, he is a dam intuitive rider. I am cresting a disappearing arch (highway on ramp) and I just nail the corner entry speed! I am on my zx 14, cheek off, knees in tuck and we tango around the apex.
