Oh wow!
I thought you mean't Quartararo or Miller or Rins or Mir.
But now I see what you are getting at.
Well, it won't be long till the next chapter.

Couple more sleeps and we are on again in Indonesia.
Still very early days but more exciting than I remember past seasons being at this stage...

I certainly hope that the track was repaved in the trouble spots like they claimed they'd do. At the first test the track was a mess. Not safe to race on. The fan base in Indonesia is huge so it should be fun. Saw a video today of the riders in their full leathers riding through the city.

Well, my jinx is alive and thriving!
All my boys, Marc Marquez / Pol Espargaro / Jack Miller finished no where in Q1 and Q2.
And man those Honda's looked loose.
However some great stories for Ducati / Yamaha / KTM.
Regardless, onto the race tomorrow.
Another exciting prospect...

Well, 'The Deck' had a bad got off. He should quit. Nothing to prove. He had his day. Guy is like a boxer. Still can box, but getting out of the way of punch? Wobbled getting up. You need to feel a concussion or two to understand it.
Going to be a crash fest. I don't think they have the right tires for this track.

As bad as I have seen Hub.
The elevation was bewildering!
Of course it could only happen to one person.
And with around 2 minutes left to go in the final practice session as well.
Unbelievable!

I'm guessing Marc had a good view of the International Space Station during his launch. Just brutal.
You can tell he was unconscious right after he hit the ground. I hope it doesn't aggravate his eye trouble.
I hate to say it , but Marc may never win another title. He's had some bad crashes and serious injuries. And now, after he's already stated he can't get any feeling from the front end, the rear lets go and sends him into orbit.
So now, every time he gets on the bike he's going to be wondering what's going to happen next.
Good job by Olivera and KTM. Quatararo did a great job of fighting back for 2nd. And it's good to see Zarco back on the podium. Factory Ducati, and especially Pecco are scratching their heads. Also great ride by Daryn Binder. Roll on Argentina !

Why is it that in recent years Marc Marquez has had massive high side after massive high side?
Many more than any other rider?
The last being the grandaddy of high sides.
It seems to me that either he takes Hub's advise and gives it away or changes his riding style completely.
But any change potentially compromises exactly what won him 8 previous titles!
I hate to say it , but Marc may never win another title.
This season is probably make or break for #93...

OOFAH!! So, I guess 2 of the cargo planes that carry all of the gear for the teams have broken down. One in Kenya. So a lot of the teams don't have anything down in Argentina. I've heard there are 3 proposed solutions.
1. Find local scooters and race those
2. Have the race at the Mombasa airport in Kenya
3. Have all the practice and qualifying tomorrow.
Looks like Saturday is going to be very busy !!

Yet another amazing emotional result.
Wont let the cat out of the bag for anyone who hasn't seen the race but congrats to the winner.
Special and deserved...

Be nice if they just backed off and let him have his last win... I didn't say that. Hope he doesn't back off and wins it. Even if he doesn't, Never lost at Austin. Pretty impressive record.
And with that, I'm going silent for the rest of the week. I'll be waving to you from the stands.

Needless to say, I'm having racing withdrawals after 3 days. If you ever visit Austin, you've got to try Salt Lick Restaurant. That's the real deal. From service to food, it's just the right taste.
As for Moto America and Danilo, someone needs to tell Gagna not to poke the bear. Danilo just took off after that.
The 60mph limit in the pits and then cross the line and it was one sweet note up the hill. Aprilia had the best sound. We'll see how he does on unfamiliar tracks.
Something happened to MM's bike or something. He could have picked them off if it wasn't for that start.
MotoAmerica is pushing some up and comers cup race. Young teenagers one the same Aprilia sponsored bikes. All I remember was Jesse something winning both times, sponsored by Jesse James? Kid walks past us, my friend says something to him, I catch my eye as he walks past; was his size. If he could only be that small for the rest of his career.
Basti is sure putting it to them, still on a year old bike. Miller? Make room for Basti.

Watched the race. As far as I'm concerned it was MM's race. It's going to be interesting to see if Basti can hold off MM if not stick with him and they check out together, then Basti saves the tires again to win. He sure does take a different line.
Looks like a wire was pulled off when that rear tire boot came off. New bike, bad positioning, because the way it sounded, it sure acted like a limp with a wire off. Still had communication between switch and sensor to mode out of it. At least my take on it.
Neighbor let me test ride an apple iphone-X and brought that along for photos. Now it's to find some software to be compatible with the old computer tower and win8.

agree on the Salt Lick for overall experience
BBQ is very good but not great. Places here in Prescott have better BBQ but not the outside ambience of the the Lick

This more salvaged goods. No I don't know these people, just in a rush to get more shots, Maybe missing half the photos, who knows? Oh well, my phone is going off line it's so old, I used an old apple 10 and cloud took off with them. I'll have to figure it out. Here's what I could download on my hard drive.
