I hear ya ZX14Racer - I love that tribute to the ZX7... paint is awesome! Next year it will be just stretch and gearing like your setup. When the time gets closer I'll pick your brain more about your setup.
Cblast - My hands were tied. I couldn't stand it anymore... Wolf became the Apex Predator's Predator. I couldn't 'keep up' anymore. I ordered from ebay so hopefully they will show up soon. Coming from Cally though, so who knows. I'm planning on the install myself, and hopefully I can enlist the help of Romans, but he's been busy as shit now that he's back working all the time. We'll see how it goes down. Once they are on I have to decide if I want to take it to Mitch, or just float wolf some scratch and get his map in my bike. I am lusting after a 3rd gear power wheelie... I think with wolf's setup it can be done.

I posted this awhile back.

Just updating. Got off the phone this morning with Nels and he has my cable for the 14R and all the bells and whistles from Woolich up and running. I am excited to strt building a flash for my bike. We will be starting tomorrow and Friday we have all day to play on the dyno. My plan is to build a zero map after takin out the small ignition crap goin on down low and mid in gears, fix the top speed limiter, build the ratio through the gear change and rpm opening in percentages. Flash out safety map with full map. I will do a final dyno run when done for power and proof including pics of it runnin with NO pc. Once my flash is all done and my bike fueling properly I am gonna give all that shite freely. Anyone that wants it can just chat up Nels for his flash fee.

Cblast, you the man ! Will be patiently waiting on your final draft to improve on the beast, getting hot down here so probably won't be riding as much, but summer is almost over, will still be doing my scheduled local flybys though, no matter how hot it is .... Got some real close places that can hit 170-180 mph easily ....

On a side note, when we were talking the other day, you said you knew mike velasco ? That guy is a legend, I remember him from way back, pops yosh, honda, etc ...

Yup, mike and I have been friends since I was about seven years old. He is a fing master. His insights into high rpm ignition and fuel/air in the internal combustion engine are beyond anything. Every word that he has ever spoken to me about engines I take as GOSPEL. I stopped by to see him yesterday but he wasn't around or he was down in the lower shop. I wanted to get his input actually on wether or not to just say fuck it and build my own flash. I didn't need to talk to him to know what he would say though. 'Cbass, if ya want it done right, do it yourself or bring her to me.' And if I for some strange fuckin reason can't get the results I want, I will bring her to him for final proofing of my tune. Then I will have the Ominus Dominus on my flash from Mike Velasco. That might be cool.

So far...Romes...you're leading the way here on these 14R flashes.My God...this bike runs SO good....it truly is a blast to ride now...not that it wasn't...the fun factor and comfort has really been pumped up.Thanks again!I LOVE what you did to this bike.I seriously don't even intend to contemplate any other mods.It just simply won't need it for how and where I ride...just great!I may get it dynoed just for the heck of it...IDK.190 something HP and the torque...it's plenty right now...probably way more than enough.For me anywho.Just awesome...really.

I think probably the most standoutish feature with your flash is the rideability...the lack of vibration....in all the rpm ranges and gearing positions...truly smooth all the way...from 1k on up to wide open.Electric....kinda like that...but with a killer kick;)I really can't say enough about it...so many different areas that you worked with...and pulled out the best of it....

Dangit see, I really wanted to try that Romans flash!! It is no ones fault or influence that I decided to go it on my own. I KNOW romes' flash is flawless. Proof is always in the puddin, just so much time for me being down if I use the wonderful US mail. And I honestly can't add $89 for shipping. Not cause I'm broke. Because to pay $89 to ship something that weighs ounces is stupid. All the down time and back and forth shipping would mean I was without Priscilla for about 4-5 days. And then the costs are escalated to the point where if I tackle it, it's done Friday, no downtime, more knowledge in my head, and NO DOWNTIME. :))
