This must be the one Smokinzx14 alluded to a while back.

Well....GREAT news BG...thanks for posting that.I removed my secondaries a while back...so I'm receiving 'at least' that redline graphing....add my PCV and Brock's exhaust/map....I'm 'probably' nailing over 200 HP at that top end.The secondary removal ALSO removes any 'hope' of the ECU kicking in a secondary response. But for guys not wanting to remove...this is very cool.Excellent info BG!I don't really WANT that KTRC override. But I can see how draggers would want less to do before running.Changing it 'on the fly' is a good deal....I leave mine in '1' all the time though....you never know when yer rear might come around!OR...get to wheelying and 'forget' for that split second between....up....and OVER!!!!!;)Thanks again BG....excellent!

There's nothing new here as far as I'm concerned as all of this was available from me since 6-15-2012...

I was the one that gave Don the info how to disable fuel cut.... They were looking for it for over 2 years prior.

And also where the low gear, traction control power limiter is... Don asked me if I thought it was actually there and where I thought it would be, and what I thought was triggering it. Of course I gave him the info that he needed to defeat it

That's why it (this flash) was available from me first over 6 weeks ago.
My flash also has a few other exclusive things that this one does not.

Don doesn't even ride, let alone have a ZX14 to test.

Just want to keep the record straight, and let everyone know what really happened behind the scenes, and who is actually responsible for these breakthroughs here.

Ivan, if you know everything why don't you do the reflashing instead of telling Don Guhl how? You sound very arrogant. As the OP posted there is another option,

Well... regardless of who found what first, only one guy from the "ECU Flash Club" (Brock, Ivan, Don) has actually come in here and fielded questions from the forum membership. That carries weight with me.

hagrid .. That is because Brock and Don no nothing about this site ..Ivan has only made 10 posts on bikeland in since becoming a member 2004 and has not posted since 2004... Strange way to pick a ECU flash if you ask me .. If i were going to pick a flash and tuner i would look for the fastest guy out there and use what he uses ..But that just me , use who ever floats your boat ..

Now just hold on....Ivan said he was gonna allow pics from his shop...no vids...okay?So....there...now this Brock guy...the one who sold me all my go fast goodies...now here he is with his...what...4th video?....Hmmm....okay....showing real time results...and...the TRACK vids with his products and Don's.Ricky Gadsen included. Now I may be a tad dense, but I aint stupid.I'll take Brock's anyday...hell...I DID!Happier than ....well....you know. No,no no...now don't get tweaked...I never said Ivan didn't have the goods. He may very well....hell...I'll never know

Okay OKAY....let's be clear here...about what I said.Brock's 'package' is a racer's gift.Ivan...he's more of a street guy...so yes...they will both be somewhat different....kinda like comparing a liter to a heavyweight.Great bikes....different purposes.Yes?...okay...I'll shut up now.

After reading Ivan's posts and Don/Brock's latest release it seems, on the surface, there isn't a whole lot that's different between the products. Now I'm looking at who has a relationship with me and who doesn't.

..I do a lot of ZRX1200s for people as well as owning a few myself .. Ivans Jet kits and tunning on the ZRX1200 is the best out there bar none !! The man can tune a bike with the best of them .. I buy parts from all the time and will keep buying from him for my ZRX1200 parts ..I send all my ZRX1200 owners to him for his jetting kits.. But when it comes to the ZX14 or ZX14r nobody has put the time in that Brock has .. Proof is in the numbers and the numbers tell the story ..
Seno is very happy with what Ivan has done with his bike and that is all that counts .. I'm sure anyone that uses Ivan flash and tune will be very happy .. Pick what flash and tune that fits your riding style and go for it .. For my needs ( drag racing ) that is Brock ..

Well said...EXACTLY...all that matters is if YOU are happy with YOUR bike...and I mean 'you' as a general term for 'anyone'.Ivan...Brock..they both are telling Don what they want.Sa'll good.

You guys KNOW that 95% of all Harleys are still on the road.

The other 5% made it home. You know...speaking of Harleys...I've stopped now for THREE disabled Harleys....new ones to boot.WTF?Am I koo koo?'Rice burner'...ppfffft!They weren't sayin that when I stopped to get em going again...and I did. They paid dearly for their 'handicap' start,I'll tell ya thatLOLOL!!!!!

Smokin,10yrs ago I had great results and support from factory pro,on a zrx11,Ivan may be good but that post rubbed me the wrong way.I don't remember 10 years ago what he said but one of his posts on ZRX.ORG made decide to go with factory pro.

Well... regardless of who found what first, only one guy from the "ECU Flash Club" (Brock, Ivan, Don) has actually come in here and fielded questions from the forum membership. That carries weight with me.

Yes, Indeed to both.

After reading Ivan's posts and Don/Brock's latest release it seems, on the surface, there isn't a whole lot that's different between the products. Now I'm looking at who has a relationship with me and who doesn't.

Very well said... I have bought plenty of Ivan's products in the past and 6 years ago I had an issue with a ZX9R. I drove to Ivan's shop and he took care of it right there for me. I certainly like to deal with local people, besides the fact walking in and shaking their hand does still mean something to some people.

GRN, it is 100% my fault regarding no pictures or videos... Honestly I had to ride 1 hour and 20 mins to Ivan's shop (which actually turned into 2+ Hours with plenty of traffic each way) and did not feel like carrying a backpack... Looking back at it, I should have thrown my GoPro on the bike to capture the difference his ECU made on my bike and capture the "safety mode" in action. When I went there initially I was not expecting his flash to do more than the one I had in my bike.... That was a real wake up call for me.

Seno is very happy with what Ivan has done with his bike and that is all that counts .. I'm sure anyone that uses Ivan flash and tune will be very happy .. Pick what flash and tune that fits your riding style and go for it .. For my needs ( drag racing ) that is Brock ..

Yes, indeed the difference was really amazing. Ivan has my money and flashed my ECU for me... I could have had a free flash from ECUleashed but instead shelled out the money for Ivan's.... Any of the Staten Island guys or local members who are close to LI,NY (11801 or 11747) with a 14R, PM me and well go for a ride and switch bikes... you can tell me what you think and give feedback on it.

2015 30th Anniversary Edition 14R #250-> Brock's CT Ceramic Coated, Ivan's ECU Flash V2 & Map, Block off plates, HM Strain gauge quickshifter, GPR Damper, Spiegler lines, Muzzy's Sliders, Pazzo levers, Rizoma Next Fluid Tanks, DDM Ultra 5500K HID's Low & Hi, DB Windscreen, Cox Radiator guard, gold titanium bolts... too many to list at this point

I'm jesting again of course.I'm totally nuetral on all of this.I'd like to try his stuff...I would...but I don't have the bucks right now to do it.I've got a Brock's pipe and exhaust on there...I've no idea how much of a difference THAT would make...I suppose those higher end exhausts produce about the same as each other?.IDK.Ivan and Brock have both been here(on this forum)...sa'll good.

It's two different styles of mapping...ECU flashes."I'll take Brock's any day"...that was tongue in cheek.Had I gone with Ivan first....probably be clowning the same way 'against' Brock...they're apparently BOTH excellent tuners.Same as with bikes...had I FIRST bought a BUSA way back when,I'd probably be riding one today(considering there's NO 14's here).

"why don't you do the reflashing instead of telling Don Guhl how?"...uhm...neither one of those tuners are telling Don HOW to do it.They're telling Don WHAT they want....big difference.Don KNOWS how to do it.Like several others. He's got the hardware...he knows his shit...and they supply the parameters. No shame in that.

One guy 'opens the box'...and tells others...one guy isn't so open...it's all good. How much does anyone REALLY need to know anyway? It's their deal...they can talk about it however they choose.Nothing wrong with that.If a customer wants 'every nook and cranny' explained...I'm sure BOTH of em will take the time to do that.In a personal message.Or not. They don't HAVE to say anything if they don't want to.

I dont see any arrogance in what the man said, looked more kinda factual to me.
and if that is based on his work, then he is fully entitled to put the record straight.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the record who has the fastest zx14r in the mile? Who did the flash? That bike is street riden with Brocks 1st flash. Who has the fastest 1/4 mile time on a 14r with a 1st flash by Brock? Street driven. Brocks 1st or 2nd flash is streetable,it's not just a drag race flash.

Why doesn't Ivan say what the "few" exclusive things his flash does that Brocks doesn't? Those "few" things may be worthless or non existant. Brock is straight up about his, the video of Brock and Guhl show it..

I'm not saying Ivans flash is no good and not to buy it, that's up to the customer to make that choice, it's great that we have two flashes to buy.
