I had the feeling Romans was going to stick around a while this time. No doubt busy as hell again.

People vanish off here a lot and you can’t help but wonder what happened being we all ride. Victhing and Maverick come to mind right off the bat.

About a year or two ago, Vic was back to say everything was ok and that he was off the bike obsession for now. Still riding just not visiting the forum often anymore.
IDK what happened to Maverick. Romans has had a pattern of popping up and then disappearing in the last year or two. I'm sure he'll be back eventually.

But!!!! I have ridden my buddies Newly Built ZX14 Turbo a couple of days ago, 14 lbs of boost,,,,Now let me tell you that messed my head up. Brought it all home. Mostly because still running on stock swing arm lol
Just Nuts ! So Much Fun.

Well? What is your thoughts on the H2 for the few times you’ve ridden it?

Ya what's up with the H2?? Of course it can't compare to 14 psi of boost on a 14 but what else?? Low end? Wheelies?? Handling??
Also, you MUST check in more often. We need you around here.

Green is back. Got his H2 and his 14R.
I live in NW Wisconsin now. Winter. Not straight south of you anymore. No cops but way too damn many deer and other big stuff that could kill me if I hit it. I'm not throwing in the towel but I must admit, I'm scared to go over 100 mph here. Already had a deer run straight into the side of my truck. Also hit a turkey with the old truck.
There is still no new busa to come whoop our butts.
I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a set of BST RapiTechs for the busa. Been saving 2 years. Had it and then in came the orthodontist bills for both my kids. Couple grand gone with a stroke of the pen. The older girl's braces are OFF!!!!
The most interesting bike to me right now is a light, nimble 600. I'll never give up my hyper bikes though. I love the new 1000s coming out but I really can't see paying what they are asking for those that's insane for a stock bike to cost as much as my truck.
What's up wit you dere, Romes?
Just got the call,,,,, she In,,,Whoooooot Whooooot
Hope Romans is ok. Still waiting on a real world review on this bike.
Well? What is your thoughts on the H2 for the few times you’ve ridden it?

Nasty notch is still waiting. The H2 is the bike he's been dreaming of. What's the scoop?
Ugh,,,, I know. I have been avoiding this. Guys My style is if you have nothing really nice to say don't say anything.
Ok, here it goes. In my opinion the H2SX is the Nicest, Smoothest, high tech well put together bike I have ever owned. Silky smooth Power Delivery. Very Predictable street manners. Easy to ride. Heated hand grips. Electronic cruise control, clip on bags for trips the works.
Now the Negative,,,,,, Ugh, how do I explain this without the masses wanting to hang me????
Hard to give only one reason. so,,,, here we go.
Longest ride was about three hours. During that time all I could think about was My 14 and how I wished I kept it.
That seat sucks.
My Ass was killing me.
Wrists were aching.
I was on cruise control all the time because of sore hands.
It's way under powered in stock forum.
My wife hated being on the back and I hated her being on the back. Touch the brakes and she slides me into the tank. seat slop makes this unavoidable.
When I walk out in the garage I don't have the urge to go out and ride it. So I Don't.(ouch!) When I get off it I don't even look back to admire it. We guys Always look back at our babies. Always!!!
That may sound mean but that's the Coles Notes of it.
Guys sorry if this sounded to harsh but please remember this is only one man's opinion.
Nasty you may love it. I just don't. Only reason I haven't sold it is because In my heart I don't believe I'm giving this beautiful bike a fair shake.
My thinking is I have been spoiled with Big Big Power and I'm having trouble getting use to only 150hp at the wheel. But I am trying to grow into it.
My boys showing up on Turbo 14s most certainly does not help.
I hope this helps ???? Sorry.

Well durn, that is a bummer. I will say, not a surprise to me, but def a bummer nonetheless. I hoped some of these new fangled models with motors smaller than our big 14's would somehow turn out to be as good, or dare I say better, but was afraid it just wouldn't happen. BUMMER. They better keep making the 14! (or make it a 15!!!)
Yes, I always look back at mine ... and since it sits next to my daily driver truck, I look at it every day I'm not riding it, too.

OK, stock kind of a bummer.
Flash and a pipe and that thing has a lot more than 150 hp waiting. It must be way restricted. How much money would it take to get that closer to H2R standards? There must be a way by now to get H2R parts. Kawasaki has already slapped the face of the first H2 buyers by selling the later bikes at a much lower price. Why no go all the way and sell H2R parts to anyone? I like the first H2s and I'm sure they got 185 hp out of them with basic mods.

Used H2 G1 like GRN's is the way to go I saw the H2 SX at the bike show when they first displayed it and I just remember thinking why...
Hear, hear! That's what I been saying all along. It's a sport bike. It's not supposed to be a touring bike. I'd rather have the Gen1 even without the few extra electronic gizmos on the dash. If you need to put bags on that, there's ways.
Grn I think keeping your 2012 H2 was a smart move.

Thanks, Romes. Makes me think you have one of those short metal toy tubes with little turbo blade inside the tube, and when you blow into it, reminds you of a keystone cop movie. Where you blow up a whoopee cushion and that's the difference between the two bikes. Where the blade peaks and the whoop has so much reserve left.
Cash waiting for a 1661cc... @ 90 pounds lighter.

IF I get one, it’ll be flashed in a short amount of time. 14 is going nowhere! Thanks for the honest review Roman.

I still feel like a Ass reporting my feelings on the H2SX. Which is the main reason why I didn't want to do it. Hard To admit not happy with what will probably go down in history as one of the best bikes Kawasaki Ever Built. I didn't even mention back brakes. I could rant about those lol. Not really a big deal until you find out bike doesn't really have any lol

Nasty some of the guys were out yesterday. My one friend stopped in. He rides a fully done H2. Looks great. Loves the Flash. Interestingly enough here in Canada we are Not Seeing the Dyno Numbers from a fully flashed ECU being reported from the Big Guys.(shhhhh)
We All run the same redline. Gear Driven Boost. Soooo,,,,, ya Don't want to start into a war but 250hp expectations Not possible with a Flash Pipe And Filter. Not in Canada anyway.
One of the guys riding ZX14 with New Turbo Install. "Only" running 4lbs of Boost. Guess How the race went?
Guess How the Wallet race went.
As I posted when H2 came out, Horse power Cost per Dollar Nothing Beats The Big Block Boosted ZX14. Torque is where the Fun is.
I love All bikes don't get me wrong but i'm still chasing the Fun Factor.
