I just gave my baby a face lift. Bought some new take off OEM head lights and replaced the low beams with HIDs. She looks great... No more hazed over lights. She's looking good.... It's kinda like a boob job on a 35 year old Milf....lol

Changed the oil: I'm trying Mobil 1 for the first time. Initial thoughts: It's as smooth as the Motul 300V double ester BUT in traffic, I'm seeing higher temps on my gauge. I'm going back to Motul before summer.
Cleaned and adjusted the chain.
Cleaned brake pads, rotors, removed and cleaned wheels, greased axles.
Next big maintenance day is in 3000 miles just before swapping the tires for track days

Werks, where'd you get the radiator guard?
I bought it directly from the manufacturer. Link below.

Last week and this week getting the bike ready for my big trip.
Put Muzzy full exhaust on. PCV with map. Rerouted TRE power wire, installed double bubble tinted windscreen, took out plugs and cleaned them ( see my "wont start post ), installed a new lithium Shorai battery, installed tinted brake light, made some 4-8 " extensions ( haven't bolted them on yet ), got a set of lowering links for the rear and straps for the front ( I ll wait till I hit the track for that ), bought another set of stock wheels for track days, trying to find my speedo healer I bought for my Busa ( and hoping it will work ), bought a new air filter ( waiting for it to come should be here end of the week), bought a new non keyed gas cap ( hate taking my key out of the ignition while filling up ), Laser engraved my fork caps ( have risers and someone before me put these caps on, so I engraved them ).
Probably some other things too.....
Hoping to get a Connie seat off the board here , and maybe a set of saddle bags soon before my trip.
And most of all waiting for above freezing weather.... -6 this morning in Michigan, sick of this crap.

Spray on Ceramic coating VHT brand at advance auto, worked alot better than i thought, quick cureing and tough outer coat

looks good, Bobby. I think I will do this too. I used Duplicolor engine paint on some parts and it also is very tough and dries rapidly. Doubt it will last as long as a high quality ceramic coating but if your on a budget, I'd say VHT is the way to go.

It's one of those "things".......if I'm going to pull the fairings I might as well,
pipe it, flash it, pcv it, slip an Ohlins under it, re-spring and revalve the forks, toss the rubber lines, put some better rim protectors on, etc
Not necessary to pull the forks to put the header on, but my suspension guy came down with pneumonia (so I don't have them back yet). The extra room without the front end on made for EASY access though.
