Today, I flushed the fluid from the front brakes and the clutch. It was the colour of maple syrup when I started now it is the colour of lemonade like it should be! Then I took it out for a test ride. Both levers have an awesome feel to them now?

I took off my clear zero gravity Marc1 screen (i'll use that with a gopro at the track). Installed a china knockoff dark smoke Puig(clone) DB with bobmoto blue anodized well nuts. Fit is maybe a tiny bit off. or because its a more rigid screen, was harder to line up the holes. BUT once I got the nuts all started the holes were fine. and when tightened down, fits great. Height is a half inch shorter than the Marc1, we'll see how the wind buffeting is. Should be the same as the Puig I had that cracked when it was stolen. (profile looks identical).
I finally painted the heelguards black, and I may do the passanger pegs and rear brake lever today. Also, I might take off the last decals on the tail that say zx14r. I sort of like the clean, no sticker look.
Still to install, stompgrip knee grip thingys. Then I'm done until maybe next year.

... and Oxford heated grips.
Dave, how are those heated grips working? Any installation issues? Was looking at getting a set for fall/winter riding.

Took my sweetie to work today, with the two brothers slip on system I installed last week. It's a little louder than I expected, but it's not a deal breaker. It sounds awesome. Now that I can hear the engine, it's amazing how often the TC cuts power. That back tire loses traction a lot more than I thought.
No wonder The last few years my other bikes couldn't get 2,000 miles out of a back tire.
Hang out a minute and I'll post a pic or two from today.

Completed the second valve lash check. All were exactly where I set them the last time. I'd say do it before 25k and then you will probably have to adjust most of the exhausts and some of the intakes. Then you're probably set for a long time.
Raising Cain on the busa. Amazing what I didn't know about that bike. You know when you're on the gas hard, you can feel the flies in gears 1-3 and maybe higher?...even in A mode whicj=h is the least restrictive. I don't like flies. Best to NOT pull them on the busa. You need to flash them to get the best performance. I'm missing my 14, all hitched up on the stands for new mods.
