Yeah DOGO...That definitly crossed my mind....the old fix and claim its a different bike!

Yep....wouldn't be askin too much.Maybe go down there in person and take a pic of the vin.I bet what happened is they raised it on a stand...a jack...and the friggin thing slipped.If you could look UNDER the pipe where the jack would go I bet you'd see some scratch marks where she slid.Why they'd be lifting a new bike on a jack is beyond me,but who knows?I 'assume' they can just roll the bike backwards outta the crate,right?(once they remove the braces or whatever)I can't see why they would need to lift the body in any way?

My mech used to lift my 07 on the exhausts right there,but the front wheel was ALWAYS chocked.I asked him if it was safe to lift it there...he assured me it wouldn't damage the headers at the head bolts there.It didn't.They were nice and snug everytime I ever checked em in 4 years.

I know they have a checklist of stuff to make sure is done before givin it to the customer....anyone know if they have to assemble anything there?I didn't think they had to...that it comes from Kawasaki with all the parts assembled and fluids already topped off?They just check-off everything on that list don't they?Make sure levers work and all?

You take a pic of that bike's vin..that dealer's gonna think you don't trust him AT ALL...that just may be a good thing for you....he'll want to make sure everytime you want service or somethin,he's gonna be right on it makin sure everything's cool.And that you aint no dummy when it comes to knowin yer own bike.Hell of a deal..sorry you have to wait.

BTW...I love lookin at that box they come in..."Another Kawasaki Motorcycle"...somethin like that!

Well the Dealer was true to his word and got me a replacement SE that came in today and I should be picking up my new ride on thurday. Lets Hope this one pans out!

Seno the rims were the main reason I wanted the SE.

To Cold to really get a good feel for her tonight on the way home but one thing I did notice the speedo and Tach lite up really nice and were very easy to read at speed compared to my 07.

Do the Rads come silver or unpainted for 2012 ?

Hey Hub Believe it or not the dealer got me a new bike and didnt just repair the damaged one both bikes were at the dealer when I arrived yesterday.

Grn as far as the LCD I like the new temperture guage alot no more guessing how hot the bike is running. I havent really checked all the features yet.
