I've had some VERY close calls with deer as ya know. Here it's a part of the riding risk.I escaped so far.It could happen any time though...they're all over the place.I see em close to road everytime I go out. When a deer crossing sign is there,I slow down and keep my eyes open and watch for any sign. They do have 'favorite' spots they cross.I try to pay attention to those.

I missed that the first time Grn. Thanks. Be really careful mon frere. It's good you know the deer crossings. I hope that pulls you through all your riding years. This place I hit the deer was a deer trail crossing but I don't think there's any sign. LOL There's so fucking many deer trails, they couldn't possibly mark them all! I don't think we have deer crossing signs here or they would need to put them every 50 feet!. Just be careful. You want to go easy on the old bean after your last wreck. I'm glad you recovered but I don't want to see you go through that again. We're getting too fucking old for that shit. Once, twice is more than enough for one lifetime.

The prices aren't that bad on the Metal Matrix Ceramic Composite rotors compared to the sicom or braketech exotics. We can do custom dimensions, materials and colors (fastmile77@gmail.com).

If the weight is similar, I'd be in for that on my next rotors. Four lbs weight reduction is worth a pretty penny.

Yeah. That was THE closest ever.Still don't know WHY it didn't nail at least the rear wheel.Only a rear camera would have shown that.

Perhaps it jumped over you. I saw that happen in a couple videos. The one that hit my truck tried to jump over the box but he didn't quite make it. You must have got a quick one.

Ear picture ?? That sounds like a close encounter of the freaking scary kind Grn14 !!! We got Kangaroos over here mostly to watch for , but any critters can venture out across the road.. poor buggers , I really do not like seeing the carnage on side of road . We got deer here too , introduced sometime ago , but have never seen one whacked here .
Been in touch with CoolBrzBlu , really good to make contact , nice fast machine and I realize , we got the light weight component bug , just like Rook and the rest , you know who you are ... lol .

Lookin at the pics I don't see how it was possible he missed me.Weird.

He must have jumped into a wormhole.

Thought I would share my recent tune dyno , the pc5 was removed , and the ECU was flashed with Woolich tune . This fella is a new tuner to me , his dynojet is new and calibrated . The bike US flash was removed , the bike returned to stock , then re flashed through ECU . Fuel is pump gas AU 98 octane , same as US 93 .
The bike has ceramic bearings BST wheels , standard gearing , Schnitz oil gear and plate / valve , Brocks real street clutch kit , pair valve removed , Sprint P08 F1-85 , EK 530 chain / Vortex sprocket ,faint readout .

Looks like you'r right in there for the max hp and the increase! I wonder how it would compare with your busa on the same dyno. I'm guessing about 180-185 hp.

Yes , the Busa is really un tuned , well it still runs the Brocks base loaded PC5 bought with the CT Meg exhaust , back in 2014 ? I think , then it was dynoed on a warm 35 celcius day and made 183 bhp and 105 ftlb . Since then it has had a send away ECU flash , by a very good fella , and it has minor things like short stacks , Sprint P08F1-85 , but no dyno update . I been meaning to get it read , but it runs so nice , it really dont matter . But curious now about how both bikes fair .

Got the Zed14 out today , gave the rear cera carbon sprocket a bit of a test , a couple of traffic light launches .
Stopped at a suburban ghetto ,a little further on and out of sight from where I had just made that bit of noise lol .... and took a couple of pics of the beast .

Thanks Rook , I see your avatar is looking like , suggesting to my infantile brain ?? , you have scored big time and maybe now throwing a leg over the latest model ... Legend !! LMAO
I have got a couple of additions on the Zed14 since last post , the lightweight BriLo Tech rear ceramic rotor , and some carbon pieces . I dropped it recently , at standstill sort of ... again lmao , got out of it well luckily . Anyway , I am in the process of changing out the SE colors for blaze green oem pieces . But , I messed up a bit with first order , and overlooked some small items for fitment . So , leaving the SE color for now . A couple of pics .

Don't I wish! No it's just a favorite song, Angel's wings.

Years and years ago we had a Bike Of The Month contest and I'm sure you would have won it at least two times by now! That is one sweet 14 you are building. What is that CF piece under the fork? I've never seen that before.

I never even thought of a song for avatar , your artistic flair bro , shining through .
That carbon piece , is a CNC Racing brake duct , with hardware brackets and kit to suit 1299 Panigale Ducati . The reasoning for that hardware choice , is they dont make Busa or ZX14R specific kits , and the 1299 uses similar Ohlins and 330mm rotors , to my things rotor size and Ohlins layout . The hardware that comes in the kit is horrid , so I replace all of it with titanium with reduced head height flanged hex bolts in 8mm and 6mm respectively . I just use their bracketry , and the main front bracket mount looks to be able to effectively cater for smaller diameter disc as well as the 330mm . Yes , so ran them on the Busa first , just to dress it up a bit , and now the same with the Zed14 .

Been messing around with the bodywork last couple of days , the oem blaze green was chosen , just love that hot rod color from Kawasaki . Anyway , everything fitted up nicely , all ready for summer riding . I also got a tune lined up for early next year , because the bike is running very rich down low , so will be looking forward to that . Here is a couple of pics

Nothin wrong with the black but that green shows off the carbon fiber very well. You got a new gas tank to match, I see.

Yes , the tank was bought not long after I first bought the bike . I got it from a fella who bought it new and never used it , at my door for around half trade price . The ZX14 color I originally wanted was this blaze green , but none going for good deal at that time .

Mixing it up with the Suzuki lads , this ZX14R is setup to carve , and for a big bike it really shines , as we all know they do even straight from the factory . Good fun to get to remind the one eyed brand loyal lads of this from time to time .

Bike looks sharp Toad. Love that green. Same as my 2012.
I see you're riding with a new Hayabusa. Have you two raced yet or aren't you into that?

Thanks for the complements mates , the bike certainly seems to show the lines more now , loving the blunt force trauma Zed14 menacing look .
Yeah , that is my mates new Gen 3 , it is now run in , 1st service done since that pic I believe . That day my mates were both taking it easy , whereas I was out for a bit more fun , so I ended up waiting for them a few times . Those lads generally only hoon around when things are known to be clear , which usually means a sweep of the best road sections we like before opening up . I will give the Gen 3 a run when he's ready , but I am 50kg heavier than him and about a foot taller . Just mention , the fella that owns that Gen 3 holds the speed record for Lake Gairdner 230mph on his Gen 2 modded bike , and the other fella on the Gixxer held the record for a Gixxer 1000 of very mild mods , maybe piped and mapped to over 200 mph . So both are capable of riding fast , and are good circuit road racer too . We dont get to do highway pulls like you USA / Mexico lads LMAO , but there are some roads were A to B means crazy black lines and big grins .
