Yeah dogo the older 14 you had was alot closer to the 1000's in performance, but the new 14 really stepped up the game in the power department. And privateer whats up man,all u keep saying is how the 1000's will kill us on the track. NO SHIT EINSTEIN they are friggin TRACK RACE bikes. But get with the thread man we are talkin power in a street race. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!!!! My god man read what i'm talkin about, the 14 isn't the end all bike i know that. But in a street roll on race the 14 does pretty good for a fat sloppy bike!!!!

I'll tell you what though i would love to ride the bmw, with my weight i think i could kill on that bike. If i could race myself on to equally modded bikes the 14 and the beemer,i dont know i might pull on my lil green machine!!! Oh and grn i love the the pic of your bike for your avatar,we have the same bike and exhaust but from that angle on that pic,dam that looks better than mine!!

... Not even... but we'll have to just leave it @ that since you are too far for us to "go for a ride". My tuner is a Buddy... I've seen all the charts... Yes a Brocked out 14r makes more power than a Brocked out 14... But not near as much as I expected to see. 'Course my bike was a "ringer". Last time it was on the Dyno, we thought maybe the Dyno was broken, so I hung out all day while he tuned other bikes... They were all spot on with the #'s that they shoulda been putting down. Was more a combo of the right parts working together, me thinks. Easy to get right with good info.

I'll leave the racing to you and Privateer. I'll stick with my 150+ sweepers and my 'lazy' curves

Good idea... but if you change your mind... CLICK Who knows... Face to face we might even get along.

Oh and trc if your 14r is stock and your a newer rider, unless that beemer rider sucks i think he would walk you from a roll. I really dont care who wins from a dig thats all skill,i want a roll so the bikes are racing each other not the riders. Now if your 14r was set up like mine with a good exhaust and pc5 mapped, and a lil gearing and an under 200lb man like me,i would SHIT all over that 250lb guy riding that beemer no problem. But its not me.....so good luck my friend and let us know.

As I again experience the sadness of having to ride alone Guess they figure..."Aw shit...no sense in spankin that ole geezer there on that fat and sloppy 14R"

That's kind of what I was thinking there Grn. Maybe they don't want to embarass you or they might not want to have it on their conscience if you dropped dead of a heart attack, just sayin.....

Nobody...and I mean NOBODY here will even run with me in any type of corners or whatever...I've tried several times when I came upon a sportbiker...just to get em to run through the canyons and such. They either back way back...or pull off and 'get some gas'....very disappointing .

Grn, you have apparently achieved legendary status in your own mind.....

Dogo are u saying the older 14 is really close in power to the new one??? I have seen four older models on the same dyno as me and my friends new14. Any the closest one to us was 19hp that os a huge difference. You would need to port the head and add race cams and open up the throttle bodies to get that back.

12hp and 4ftlbs difference... Like I said, less than I expected.

Then my friend u had a weak 14r or a strong older one. And i bet this was done on different days right? And were they the same mods?. I had a 2010 14 with the same set up as mine almost pull 176hp compared to my 201. But im not going to go back and forth with u guys hating on the bike u don't have. I get it. But if i were to race your bike it would show you how much more horses she has trust me.

Both bikes had Brocks systems and flashed ECU's... Mine had a few more mods, but the motor had never been opened up.

Yes, it was on a different day... and before you go off about that, I know. All I said was that the power diff was less than I expected.

Not hating racer... my idea of racing involves cornering... and I'd smoke your ass on a road course... trust me.

@ Darryle: The Blade has good mid but doesn't have big top HP. A S'thou or a ZX-10R with a good pipe woulda given you something more consistent to bite on.

Green: I'm curious to see that 150MPH sweeper. Do you get to 150MPH before you get to it or accelerate and lean the bike more when you're in? I'm asking because with sweepers I like reaching max speed before I get in, IMO the slow entry fast exit is only exiting on the tight stuff. Feel free to post a vid if you have one.

Drag I wasn't picking on him we were just having fun,When I passed him there was a double on coming lane with no traffic.I was not aware the 10R and the Beemer are that much quicker

Nah I know. I was implying that you were being reckless or anything like that.
The Beemer and ZX-10R are close in acceleration and top speed and they'll both smoke a CBR 1000RR. Stock for stock you still win but it would have been a little harder.

According to fast bikes the ZX-10R has 14 hp on the CBR and 4 less than the S thou'.
