[Yo Minerman-What kind of polish are you using on yer Black Beauty?Thanks-Ride safe!!!!(It looks GREAT!!)(sorry-is it Metallic Blue Sapphire?).
What's up Blue07, When I polish her, I use Meguiar's cleaner/wax, it's the paste wax in the maroon can, it is real good about removing light scratches and doesn't leave any swirl marks, in between wash/waxes i use Blackhawk motorcycle cleaner.
And she is, as Kawasaki designates Metallic Midnight Sapphire Blue But in any light other than direct sunlight she looks black or somewhere in between dark metallic blue. It's an absolutely beautiful color, KHI really outdone themselves when they mixed up the color M.M.S.B...
Thanks for the compliment Blue07, but looking thru all these pictures you realize that the ZX14 is one awesome bike and there are some great examples of some real nice bikes in this group, and some fine people in this forum.(Thanx bg)
My personal favorite is ZXTwitch, that is really a kick-ass paint job. Well-done
Ride safe & ATGATT, Take care everyone!!!

blue07: Thank you. I love the way it handles. A lot of guys say when you lower them it makes it harder to lean and takes more to steer, but I didn't notice any difference. I lower all of my bikes, so I might be used to it.
I have the Roaring Toyz lowering links that drop it 1.25", or 2.5". In that picture, it is 2.5", but I raise it back up to the 1.25" when my wife and I go out riding 2-up.

From the factory, the ZX14 has a slight rake to it. The front is already lower compared to the back. By lowering it 3/4" in the front, and 1.25" in the back, the bike is even front to back when all is said and done.
Here is a picture of it in stock form:
