Thanks Guys.
The poor thing had a "Slow Side" incident.
I bought it from a Mature Rider who babied it since new.
The accident devastated him. He held on to it for nearly a year before deciding to part with it.
Partly out of reluctance of knowing He'd not likely get another, and partly out of fear of riding.
Fortunately the Rider, broke the fall of the bike, suffering no structural damage, just entirely cosmetic.
It needed nearly every bit of plastic replaced as well as the instrument cluster, gas tank, seat, mid-pipe and seat.
When I got it, the previous owner had bought most of the panels necessary to fix it. The engine cavity was stuffed full of mud and grass from the crash. I soaked it and washed it thoroughly, deatiling and cleaning every "Nook and Cranny".
I wanted the bike to look relatively stock. It's difficult to see from the pictures but the Ebony color has had fine Gold metal flake added. I used the factory decals as stencils and had the vinyl decals cut in Gold Iridium.
The bike has had the "Flies" removed, a full Muzzy system installed, BMC air filter and PCIII added. It has been professionally Dyno tuned reportedly making a bit over 207 hp at 9000 rpm.
I have only ridden it a few times but compared to the pair of Hayabusas that I have owned , it has much more of a "Sport Bike" feel.
Today there is no indication that it had ever been on it side and I am looking forward to Spring and spending some "Quality Time" getting to know one another.

I bought a 650 a long time ago, under the same circumstances. It's a shame when the rider loses pride in his ride after a scrape(been there, done that, and got the tee shirt). Just giving you heads up on the hp #'s with those mods. Should read somewhere around 170 to 185 at rear wheel. Depending on Dyno. If you ever get to Yarmouth(home town)in the summer look me up. I see this was your first post.

I sure will. Drag races at the Air Port sounds like fun!!
I hear you about the Dyno numbers.
I was suspect of them too. But, thats what the previous owner told me.
I don't know much about these "Ninjers" being a Loyal Suzuki Rider but,...
My home Forum is speedjunkie.ca, out of Halifax.
Check it out if you get a chance.

I was not expecting the Muzzy slip-ons to be as loud as they are.
However, I do like the 21 pound weight savings versus the stock exhaust cans.
And I added a PCV with a Muzzy map for a full system, and am very happy with the performance and smoothness of power curve - no more flat spot at 3,500 rpms.
