YW... I also suggest Woodcraft frame sliders and Driven axle blocks... Tested them on Weds... Work well.

Wasn't riding @ The Ridge... It was my first time riding Pacific Raceways. Anyhow, the asphalt there is so old and polished, where I crashed, my leathers barely got scuffed. ... wait... I gotta race there?

That bike is something else... Yesterday, I was going down the front straight @ The Ridge. When I was transitioning my body to the left side of the bike, to set up for T-1, I pulled on the clip on (rather than using my legs ). This sent the bike into a violent head shake @ 150mph... I lightened my grip, and the bike corrected itself... Had I done this on my 10r, I do not think I would be writing this.

btw: you may know this, but it is still worth mentioning... If you ever experience anything like this, pump your front brake (after the shake). The force will compress the pistons in the calipers. ie: You will not have any front brakes!

Besides... you look better on the Blade!
Goddamn, I make that bike look good!
That's exactly why I shouldn't ride pass 70% on the street.
60%... just sayin'.
He took as a sign of his potential and the next week he was doing track days so he could get his racing license.
Your turn.
What about not crashing till the end of the season...Can you manage that? lol
I dunno... Will try... but not gonna hold my breath. Shit happens.
My record isn't that bad when you factor in the amount of time I have spent on the track. I quit counting, but I've done 30+ days now... and headed out for a triple header in a few hours.

You're right, but you got remember my 60% is boring riding... gotta add the 10% lol
Ah yes... I almost forgot. When you hit the track, that will change. 60% is far from boring... However, 80% is a lot more fun.
Smoke them!REALLY NICE PICS BY THE WAY.

No need to smoke them... Was not racing... Actually skipped the last round of racing for the season in favor of doing track days @ Oregon Raceway Park... That place is SWEET! Almost makes The Ridge look like a flat track. Insane elevation changes, banked corners, and off cambers that just fall away from you... too much fun... ok, not really... No such thing, IMHO.
Yep, I still keep in touch with Hub... He's doing well. Trying to plan another trip south to carve some canyons with him soon.

Big Dog,
here's what I got so far for the keyless set up on the 08+ (method 3)
http://www.1000rr.net/forums/showthread.php?t=69472
Then, here's what I put on for the exhaust servo removal ($15 DIY board)
http://www.1000rr.net/forums/showthread.php?t=70406&page=68
I've been actively getting parts and will try to build it up from a complete tear down,
I have a feeling I'll like this bike when it's built.

Nice... Thanks for the links, Bud. I will take advantage of the info on the ignition key delete.
Are you gonna do a build thread?... If so, post a link.
I've been doing a little shopping myself...

Nice, I think I saw these wheels on ebay recently for a killer deal, magnesium right?
I haven't taken any pics yet but I got a Motoholders stay and a subframe, Woodcraft clip ons, frame and swingarm sliders, Vortex rear sets, GB Racing case covers for both sides, bazzaz tc with qs and a z-bomb etc.
I wanted to do a build up from a complete tear down- did the pair blocks, keyless ignition, changed spark plugs, hard wired that circuit board in place of the servo, shorted the side stand switch, air filter etc.
I still don't have an exhaust, haven't made up my mind about the steering damper and haven't addressed suspension.
Same with bodywork- hoping to find a decent set that's already been painted.
I'll take some pics when I have time to get to the bike again

I got a prety good deal on a GPR off eghey... You weren't the guy that bid me up are ya? If so, we gotta communicate.
Contact Barry @ KFG Racing... He might still have 2 sets of Traxxion Dynamics cartridges and/or a Penske shock... Parts from Jake Holden's Laguna bike(s).
You have good taste, bike is going to be SWEET!
Who did you order the subrame from?... TenKate and Yoyodyne are the only distributers I've found. Just wondering if maybe you might have sourced cheaper. ... Did you get the glass too?

Gotcha... I want that subframe... But if I decide I wanna run SS, it's illegal... Would be one more thing to change when I get my white plate.
I bid $1500 on the Marches, but it did not meet the reserve... I slept on it and decided fuck it, what's another $200... BIN! I'm a sick man... however, atleast I'm in good company. lol

Come to think of it, Barry probably has the GPR's also... He took the stuff off of the bikes to return to the sponsors... Was not right for Redline to keep after pulling outta Jersey. I'm sure the sponsors wouldn't mind $$$ instead though.
I picked up a spare ECU this morning... Will keep you posted how the flash goes. Unfortunately, Nels (my tuner) is benched for awhile. He crashed and had to have his foot reattached to his leg... left (shifter) side ofcourse.
