Are you guys seeing these low-mid rpm benefits with a stock exhaust?

Auron did you see that map ? I have as well as many other top tuners , even dynojet said it was not good ..I don't sell maps or flashes , I have no skin in the game .. But I do know what mapping runs the fastest ..If you got Ivans map and you are happy that is all that counts ..

Hub I couldn't agree more , I had one of the fastest ZRX around and used Ivans jet kit to do it , never made a change to it because there was no need .. I got a two jet kits from him last year for ZRXs ..Hub you know me all the way back to 2006 when the first zx14 came out ..2006 to 2014 I have over 7500+ passes on my 2006 2009 and 2012 ZX14R combined .. As you know and most others know I do this out of my own pocket and time .. I have been at these since 1973 with cars and motorcycles , this is what I love to do .. As you also know I have tested many pipes and tunes as well as other goes fast parts for the zx14 and have shared that info for free on Bikeland , zx1441r and here .. Think about 7500 passes and the data from that ..You can copy what has been done to my bike and it will run like my bike if you can ride it ..After testing as many flashes and tunes as I could get my hands on the outcome is Brocks/Guhls flash 2 has run the best numbers over and over .. The closest flash and fuel tune was a full tenth off , MPH was down also ..Buy what pipe you like , buy what flash fits your needs , buy what fuel tune fits you needs and ride your bike and be happy ..I just put the info out there to make it easy for you guys to get the best out of your ZX14..

I too have no skin in this, I just like to see the map numbers played so I can grasp the concept of two players.I have one pc5 wired to the AFR screen and another pc5 I have now on the rack to finally wire up a toggle, since the GPS is out of the loop. I can grab that toggle and use that stock map all zero'd out.

You can copy what has been done to my bike and it will run like my bike if you can ride it

Why don't you do this. Send me a copy of both maps and don't say who's is whom? I'll just plug them in and toggle to the next one. An unbiased seat of the pants so the OP has a choice and there is no argument you pushing the goods. Just trying to explain the ride of the miliamp change is all I love about a computer bike.

Hub as you know I can't share Brocks maps unless you own a brocks pipe .. Map sharing is a big NO NO with Brock ..As a Brocks dealer I have to honor that ..Now if you have a Brocks pipe I will send it to you ASAP !!

Oh yes Hub , once you see the two maps side by side you will know who made what map .. It is soooo clear when you see them .. :)

I suppose NOW you want ME to send my Brock's exhaust to Hub....Geez Lee....I only have a few more weeks of riding left....have mercy will ya;)

How about this...I have my old Brock's midpipe here...would that qualify?

Just an aside here..I had BOTH flashes and PCV map setups from BOTH Brock and Ivan...I have to say...they BOTH were very good.The ONLY thing I couldn't 'get past" was the lower end response feel.I mean...at that time...I was 'expecting' more 'grunt' I guess you could say...it just didn't seem to be (to me)pulling like it 'could'.Otherwise...they both were rock solid.I suppose now they've upgraded their mapping and such...not that it was 'bad' or anything.In all fairness..mine were for street riding...not drag racing.I should mention...in all likelihood...MY abilities PROBABLY cast a pretty big shadow on what I was feeling at the time.I'm a wannabe(used to be anyway)...with ONLY street riding habits and techniques...so my experience(s)with these upgrades is....'not professional'....;)

"yeah I know, stock"...NOTHING wrong keeping THIS bike stock...I'll say that.MINE is back to stock,except for the flash(and the exhaust).And ya know what?...she runs like a master carver through the curves and rolls like a magic carpet.NOTHING wrong with stock;)

I gotta say this here...aside from this 'topic'...Of all the guys on this forum,the HUB has been the most maligned of any of em.I used to think he was just a bigmouth trying to prove something to everyone.The fact is...he knows what he's talking about.Since I changed my thinking about him...his several topics on different things '14' have proven to be spot on.TWO topics in particular for me anyway.Transformed my riding experience.He's always said...'factory stock'...while I was spending gobs of cash trying to build a 'better' bike.Only to find...he was right.And riding techniques.Same story.So just wanted to give Hub his props.;)

You shoulda seen us...well...at one time anyway....we had our drama alright;)It wasn't pretty.Hub goes back to 06 on the forum...me...07.That's a long time to be posting and such.We were here BEFORE THIS iteration of the forum existed.LOTS of water under the bridge.We both stayed.Glad we did.These post numbers here are for THIS forum...Hub and I and others had PLENTY of posts on the first forum....

You know...it's been so darn long ago...I'm not exactly SURE what happened.It just ended...and then this one took it's place with new admins(BG)...same group of people...just a switchover.EVERYONE thought it was gone...some of us searched the web and found it again...and here we are;)

Talk about drama...that's pretty much why the first one died...if I recall...the admins just were done...I think.Maybe not...but I seem to recall something along those lines.People were 'jumping ship'...it was coming apart.Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here.I could be.

Grn had a run in with some dude named Blue07. It got pretty nasty.

Blue07 threatened to sue the site owners so they shut down the forum. Everything seems to have blown over.

Hub lets just look at 2500 to 11200 in both maps @ 100% throttle and then you tell me ... First map 2500 to 11200 @ 100%Throttle -10-12 % fuel bottom to top ...Second map 2500 to 11200 @ 100% throttle shown below ..

Now tell me what map was made with a tuning link 2501I dyno and the other made by a butt dyno .. :)

Gas tester reads different than a wideband... use what you like.
I like my gas tester much better... especially for small throttle openings.

The beauty of using the PCV is that anyone can set it how they like for what ever the reason.
