Look guys the ZX10 is Garths bike .. It totally modded .. it's got everything including wheels , motor work ect ect .. Garths bike has been over 200 MPH many times .. Garth is 235 pounds and the zx14R rider was 260 pounds .. That ZX14R pulled that zx10 down and just ran away from him on the top end .. Lets take my ZX14R and do a roll on and see what happens .. Garth is one really nice guy and he would be the first to tell you what would happen if i raced his zx10 with my ZX14R ..He does this 9/10 racing every week , he know what is fast and what is not ..

Please go do that race and post up the results. This is exactly what I was referring to previously. Now Lee, you know you weigh 100 pounds less than the next nearest living human being on planet earth so you've got to find a like weighted rider to perform this. You could run away from that 10R with a slightly modded 1975 model Honda XR75.

Wasn't really trying to compare mine to a new 14R. Was trying to compare the new 10R to the new 14R with both having the same horsepower and the 10R having over a hundred pound weight advantage. From a 60ish roll, power/weight plays a huge factor. My old dinosaur runs pretty good to be so outdated though. Still, I'd not shy away from the chance at a 4 mil stroker crank. As a matter of fact, that very thing is already on the drawing board. :)

ROFL,,,, not to mention most riders will never see a 8.49 on there 14R,,,,,, Ever. It's a small # but not easy to attain. Lot's of seat time required.

Good question. Answer: Because I just bought a turbo ZX14 from Texas that I've not been able to go pick up yet. Hoping for a 7 second timeslip out of that one with Dave as it's run 8.40's@ 170+ with a 6'4" 300+ pound rider. Bike weight: 535 tank empty. Raceweight he said was over 850 pounds. EEEEEEK! Now that one might run with the new 10R, ya think???

7 lbs = 1hp
14R with Brocks exhaust ~ 556lbs
10R with full exhaust ~ 435lbs
556 lbs - 430lbs = 121lbs / 7 = 17.2hp.
So he's puting out about 170hp with a full system exhaust + 17.2hp from the weight advantage which is 187.2hp
14R with exhaust puts out what 200hp? So you are only up 12hp but an ass load more torque so I'd say it depends heavily on the racing circumstances. Roll on at 60 in 6th and see how he hangs.
And the 10R is ugly as fuck imo.

hey guys thanks for all the replies , i am fully aware of the 10r and its light weight combined with power as well ,i can promise you he did not pull away from me any didtance that i dont think i can make up with a few mods , im really interested in the butterfly removal..... will this effect my drivability because i like to enjoy putting miles on my bike and would hate to lose mid range power under less than 100% throttle position ????? we have this racing rival between all my buddies and they assumed the big bad new 14 would wax everybody !!!! i was not in the least bit embarassed because it ran real close and it is a way nicer bike than my 06 , i just need to know a good gearing setup (dont care if i cant run over 165-170mph ) and how much power to expect from the alien head 2 full system and brocks map ?? i live in ohio and will put all the parts on but it will go on brocks dyno for spot on map

lol It was really entertaining, and it didn't even end up in a big virtual brawl!!!
After seeing the vid and the reading the comments... I have gotta say this... That was a ZX-10, meaning... The 1000RR with the race package would give a bigger challenge to a stock 14R. The Beemer has higher top speed and more hp. I, too would like to see an average 14R rider beat a more experienced liter rider easily! If not why bother with 1400cc? One more thing, I have no doubt a Brocked out 14R can't be compared to stock. That's the problem with kaws nowadays, you have to throw a lot of money at them to make them fastest. Take the ZX-10 for instance now let's say you wanna make it faster than the Beemer... I bet you're going to go pass the 1000RR budget. AND if the beemer add the race package for $2500, you're back behind. Kawasaki need to stop compromising and producing those politically correct bikes.
@injfuel: Pick up the phone and call Brock! lol
I thought I had the badest bike but found out a GSXR 1000 had the same hp! That's when I placed my order. I know it's hard to swallow on a 15k brand new bike but fast is expensive.

im really interested in the butterfly removal...K-skidrop works like this:
1. Old style = Retards ignition ~ Drops the injector spray.
2. K-skidrops = Retards ignition ~ Drops spray ~ Closes flies.
Remove fly you lose top end pull ~ See Brock's number messing with the sub system.
A. Squid = Sits at the light.
B. Rider = Times it down.
C. Excuse clause = Blames the bike.

All I have to say is the same thing Romans said......if you really want or need the fastest thing around boost it. I boosted my 06 with the same kit as Romans, and in my area I'm the only boosted bike period. And also the fastest I might add Boosted bikes are pretty rare, I didn't boost mine to be the fastest, I just wanted the freakish over-the-top acceleration that I live for on a bike but if you need the fastest thing around, spend the dough to boost it. I doubt you'll run across a faster (or another boosted) bike very often, and you'll never need to upgrade for a few more ponies again.
Plus you won't have to play this "my bike is barely faster than yours today" game
Boosting for me was cheaper because I don't plan on buying another hyper-bike.....I won't need to. So in the long run the turbo kit will more than pay for itself
Besides boost is more addictive than crack.......and its legal

Well put. Boys, nothing like passing your buddies leaving a 100ft black strip behind you at stupid speed lol. Traction become your only Enemy,,,, Love it. So,,, Def boosting the New one. It's a given. I'm hooked, Big Time. Boost Junkie lol
What's eating away at me is Smookin14s Brocked out version of the 14R. That's one Sweet bike for sure. So do I copy, or save 1500 on the pipe and put the Money Towards New Turbo. Chris Jones making some real nice kits for this new bike. Rear wheel horse power must be over 300 ????
lol It was really entertaining, and it didn't even end up in a big virtual brawl!!!
That part is nice. I love the dry humor. More please.
