Hey All, I talked with Black1 this afternoon and kicked around some ideas. We think if we meet up in Saratoga NY it will be easier for the majority of you all to get there by 9:00. So...I'm going to propose meeting at the McDonalds Restaurant just off exit 15 of Interstate 87 aka the northway. I would like to get going by 9a.m. and get you all on some nice twisty roads. We eventually will end up in or near Lake Placid depending on time. When we run out of time we'll turn around and come back.
Lets hope for no rain, but if need be we'll figure something out. Also I rode tonight and around 7 p.m. I needed a clear shield, so I know a lot of you won't be home by 7 so you might want to bring a clear shield along for the ride.

Shogun, Not sure if you can make it to Saratoga by 9, if not we will be going through Hadley NY which is about 20 mins +/- from Lake George village. We will be on N. Shore Rd. and turn on to Stony Creek Rd. in Hadley NY. The million dollar question is what time. If we leave Saratoga by 9 we should get up there around 10:30, but the timing will be a crap shoot at best. Let me know what works for you and we'll make it happen.

As far as a rain date goes the following Sunday, Sept.29 works for me. I just looked at the weather and there calling for rain Sunday morning. Oh well lets hope that changes.

With the rainy forecast for Sunday, I don't have to worry about getting to Saratoga, NY. As of now I'm in for next week too. It would be cool if we all could meetup Saturday afternoon/night at a local hotel to have chance to hangout, then hit the twisties fresh Sunday morning....just a thought.

If heading north, at bottom of exit 15 take a right, less than a 1/2 mile up on right, and yes they do have hickory smoked bacon, egg and cheese biscuits.

I'm 3 hrs away from that address. I'd have to leave at 6am with no stops to get there at 9am. I cannot remember the last time I saw 6am... wait there was that morning in 2004 a raccoon got into my trash bin.

If the weather fails this Sunday then I am tentatively on for next Sunday. I have to check on something tonight then I'll know, but the time thing is a challenge.

Well it's Saturday night and I haven't heard from anybody saying that there planned on showing up tomorrow so I won't bother going to McDonalds in the morning to meet up with anybody. Maybe next weekend the weather will be better.
