If it's 1441,it just may outdo the 14r.IDK.Has some nice electronics on it though.Too bad they didn't add electronic suspension.These heavier bikes would benefit from it.
Nothing on the website about a 2021,but the vid showing the bike coming at the camera looks like a new redesigned Busa.(comparing to the picture of that blue one).

I'd see if Grn ponies [pun] up on one. Chrly bails for one, kawi sells off the bike section of heavy industries, and where is the new management's head on performance and tradition? I'm ready for more of that torque you know and love.

You know I love my Gen1 ZX-14 best but my Gen2 busa has more of that low down torque even with a slightly smaller engine. It's still as much of a wheelie bike as the Gen1 ZX-14 even with the 14 having +4 T on the rear sprocket. If the engineering follows the tradition, I'd say a 1440 busa would edge out our Gen3 ZX-14r. The question is, yeah---does Kawasaki have something in the works to liven up the ZX-14 or will they bow out of the big bore scene and develop he H2 instead? They have an awful lot invested in that H2. If something is going to happen, the only thing I can see is that Kaw throws a supercharger in the 14r. I'm awful tempted to jump at the new busa though.

It also has a qwikshifter up/down on it.That's very nice.I do know their shift mechanisms are really good.Better than the 14.Every Kawasaki I've had they have that same clunking into first.
The exception is definetly the H2SE.It doesn't clunk at all.And it downshifts clutchless like a champ.VERY smooth.Bout time though!
I'd ride a Busa just to see how it feels.But I wouldn't buy one.I love my SE.(yah I know I've said that before,but honestly,my SE is everything I could want.It really outperforms any bike I've ever had.

The H2 may be the competition for the new busa. I'd kind of prefer it that way. You know, if Kaw goes and makes a supercharged ZX-14R, that will kill sales of the H2 and for me personally, I would go berserk if I bought a 2021 busa only to have a supercharged ZX-14 come out the following year.

I don't know if I can live without this bike. There will probably be three levels you can buy this bike at. I have half the price saved up for a top of the line model. Could get a loan for half. I guess forget buying a home for a few more years.........these damn bikes....I hate loving them..

What do you think, is that a black with gold trim or a midnight blue? That would match my Gen1 ZX-14 pretty well.

Nice.Curious to see the electronic package on it.It appears to have wheely control.It's definitely got upstyled bodywork.More like a GSX.TFT dash on there.Could use a different style on the exhaust though.I like the rear of it.I'd say it's a midnight blue.5 spoke wheels.Probably very comfortable.Right up there with a 14.Maybe even more.I'd try one out.But that's all.Probably smooth as glass.

PW1 - TC1 - L?? Say full power is one. Traction control is still an intervention so wheelies addressed. The L goes?
QS1 for quick shift. And round out the dash with a low gas display, time, temp, and the shift/rpm LED or whatever rpm selected for the tree?

Left gauge is fuel, the right one is the coolant temp. They even did make it to get the 80s-gauges get into the 2020s Big applaus.
The 45° (!°) and the 43° is probably the lean angle to each side.
Do you also see the silver rings round the big gauges transformed from ZX14R 2012 to the Busa?

Thanks, mopp. Had that senior moment and L must be for 'Launch'. You figure Tri is willing to meet/exceed IFM military type of dependability, I have yet to hear/see a moto2 bike blow up, spit off a rider with a rod out of the case... nothing.

LA traffic, people change lanes right in front of you. The 14 is running 107km in 6th, I whack it open rather than brake, because I'm a touch quicker coming up on them. It's a beautiful thing to see that bike move so quickly away, I have so much time it seems.

I'm not about to step down on the torque factor. I'm all about ET'inn a 1/4 panel with slot car performance.

Nope.I'm actually done with 'supersport' bikes now.And those are lean angles on that TFT.

After riding my SE,it's just too darn ergo friendly.Added some bar risers on her,up about 1 1/2".Sweet.Have that cruise control on there.Just too cool.It handles as good or better than the 14.Lot more planted in corners railing.Very confidence inspiring.I never worry about havin the rear slip out.She just grabs and grabs.
Have a steering damper mount comin.Probably go with the RSC Hyperpro.Worked great on my 14.Just for frontend backup.

The lean angle graph on mine is right there.Easy to glace at and shows green graduating to red(it moves with the bike lean) when lean is WAY over.
Also records max angles in any given ride.Very nice.
