This was a stray that scratched on the door that was soaking wet from the rain. The old lady's sister died, now the cat lives here. I am well trained. I know when to feed, let her out, and demands her 'Rubbies' at any moment. Note the head raise because I stopped petting. Runs down the hallway with this cute little trot, then walks under the desk and the attention begins.

SOOO cool guys.I just love em.I think they were either ferals or pulled away from their nest mates too early. They both came from the same shelters together.About 5 months old now.Have had to be patient with em...they apparently haven't been treated okay by people, but they're coming around great and behave really good. Thanks for the pics and vid...really sweet!

Wife and I rescued 3 kittens outside our office.
New mom just had them and one day was well over 100 degrees out
and we didn't see mom. Went and found the 3 kittens in the bushes and
they where probably within a couple hours of not making it. Really
bad shape.
Some bottle feeding and close attention got them back on track.
They're full grown now and I must say very spoiled, which is ok
considering the start they had. Glad we could help them.

SWEET!Love it.The darker one I have was pretty standoffish. The other one too,but not as bad.Just within the last day the darker one actually came up on the bed and picked a spot right up next to me,and layed her head in the crook of my arm.Kinda looked up at me like..you're okay.I think I'll trust ya.She loves to be rubbed around her head.Just loves it.But virtually only on her perch.Hope this continues. They kinda que off each other. One does it,the other tries it.They've come a long way in 6 months. Those are all darling kitties you guys.I feel blessed.

She extends her front paw onto my chair, gives a shout as her nails pull on the fabric. You hear them pop off, look down, and she is already under the desk to get her 'rubbies' in. I rest my forearms on the front of the seat, hold my hands close together, she then passes thru the gap I made, and stops exactly where she wants those strokes made to her rear end.
She comes into the room and sits down. She gives a yap, stands up and wants me to follow her. I get up, begin to walk down the hall. She turns around to make sure I'm following her. Either she turns into the kitchen to be fed, or heads for the back door to let her out. I wish I had a vid of these routines.
She took a shit on the rug, pee'd on the pants the old lady piled on the floor that was about to be washed-sometime last night. Where the two litter boxes close to each other clean? I stay on top of it just for this reason. I can still count a few times on one hand how rarely this happens. Is she pissed off, getting old? Do I scold her? Never! She's just an animal you are pretty much holding captive.

"Do I scold her? Never! Rook,
I would have been the same as you with the sneezing or wheezing.
But, I take a zyrtec a day and Breo (spendy without a online coupon) and I haven't had any issues since my Girlfriend moved in with 2 previous cat rescues and now we have taken in 2 more rescues. The Girlfriend works at one of the local shelters.
All of our Cats are quite playful and talkers. Love them and our Pups. We have a full house. :)
Piken,
The striping on your babies is beautiful.
Later you Crazy Cat Dads!

I'v tried Zyrtec before and it didn't do much. It helps a lot to have a GF motivating you to deal with the allergies. I even got married and accepted three cats and two rabbits along with my 120 lb shedding machine of a German Shepherd. It was ok. Keep the ventilation going on the furnace all year. It was not so bad. You gotta put up with some things when you live with others....unfortunatley, she didn't get that. ...so watch out.

Thanks he’s a hoot. Rules the backyard with an iron fist, but is always ready to snuggle and watch TV at the end of the day (after he’s had a bath of course).

This is Nelly, our half-feral 19-year-old bird murdering mouse mangler.
And the 3 mutts. Sophie the beagle is 17, Tilly the Shitzapile is 12 and Misha the Great Pyrenees is almost 16 months.
Also have a rabbit and 2 hermit crabs who have outlived their life expenctancies by more than double.
